Extra Virgin, an Olive Ovation

Fantastic local business that has a great selection of olive oils, wines, teas and other gourmet food products. There are also some lovely home goods with linens and gorgeous olive wood cutting boards. We were lucky to taste some nice wine and of course they have their olive oils available for tasting. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and interesting in helping you find a great experience with her products.

Visiting this charming shop is a culinary treat. You can browse a curated selection of high quality specialty wine, foods, and gifts that are sure to please the most picky host and their dinner guests.

Greatly enjoyed a private olive oil tasting last night with a group of friends. Marianne and her staff were both welcoming and informative during the tasting. While having been to an olive oil tasting before I still learned a great deal! The oil selection is the best in the area and has representation of almost all major olive producing regions in the world. You are free to taste the majority of available oils to decide for yourself what works for you. There are plenty of other great kitchen supplies, wine, tea, vinegars, honey, and other food stuffs to browse as well. We will definitely return to try something new!

Was introduced to this gem today. The owner was very helpful and informative. We got to sample a few different olive oils as well as some of their salad dressings and balsamic vinegars. Awesome experience. We will definitely be shopping here in the future.

Lovely store. I bought some French and rosemary salt. And some French butter and it instantly elevated my cooking!

The burrata was excellent. The tomatoes were as sweet as candy. So convenient to be able to get oils, vinegars and all you need for salad course in one place. Marianne is a font of information.

An absolutely amazing experience. The olive oil in your cabinet is likely not olive oil at all. The balsamic vinegar is absolutely delicious and the staff is so helpful. There are very affordable options and lots of exquisite cooking items, teas, salts, and so much more. I'll definitely be back.

Extremely nice people and a wide range of excellent products.

I had the most AMAZING experience yesterday visiting with Marianne who selflessly gave her valuable time to me to pass on invaluable knowledge and tips on just a few of their EVOO's, balsamics and salts. I have a catering business in NE Iowa....and I could have spent all day....a week even....soaking up every aspect of this beautiful place. For anyone interested in a truly extraordinary experience seeing, smelling, and tasting a very diverse selection of the world's best....I would implore you to make a pilgrimage to The Extra Virgin and pay homage the olive tree. You won't be disappointed.
