Sal & Mookie's - Madison

I was there the other night with my husband and these two lovely young ladies greeted me at the door. They were very nice and complimented my outfit for the evening, which was a nice refreshment after a long day. Then my server, I don’t remember her name (not good with names) but she had very long brown hair, was so kind to me. She made the effort to speak to me not only as a customer but as a person. She was quick with her service, but not pushy. I ordered one of their large salads and it was perfect, and my husband enjoyed his sandwich. I would 100% recommend this restaurant for a nice family outing, or for a dinner date. I will definitely be returning soon!

This was our first time here. It was amazing and our server AK made it AWESOME. The was hot and quick. We will definitely be back soon. Thanks AK for amazing customer services, you rock girl!!!

We love our ice cream and highly recommend Sal & Mookie’s. It was recommended by Rebecca Turner and Ryno after being their guest on the ‘Good Things’ show on Super Talk Mississippi this afternoon. Absolutely fantastic!

This was our first visit to this location, as we’ve been to their Eastover (Jackson) and Biloxi locations several times. The food here is very uniform and great. The service is great as well. The layout of course is a little different here. They do have a bar that’s tucked away by itself. We also had some ice cream from the ice cream bar. It’s conveniently located in a shopping center anchored by Home Depot and had a Crumbl cookie next door.

Our server AK was very attentive, nice, and a pleasant server. Anything we needed she was already 10 steps ahead. Ask for her she’s great. She even brought out an extra cup of ice w/o being asked when we were sitting on the patio. :)

i went here yesterday and had wings and pasta. The wings were really good and the chicken Alfredo was well seasoned.! I may return today to try the pizza & ice cream.

Truly love the pizza here. It is always on my list of must haves when I come into town. Crust is absolutely amazing and the rest of the pizza is very well balanced. Was super lucky tonight to have AK as our server. Shout out to her - this girl was super sweet and very attentive. Will definitely be back again.

Had a great experience there tonight. We had a group of 7 and we were seated promptly. AK was our server and she did a fantastic job, she was friendly and sweet and cracked a few jokes. Food was fantastic the the overall experience was excellent.

Went on a Wednesday night. Ordered the Crab & Corn Pasta, it was delicious. Not crowded & the dessert menu is amazing! They even have Sundays with alcohol in them! I'll have to come back for a Sunday bc the meal was huge!

The Madison MS location is the best! Dined in with my family and our beautiful waitress “AK” was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! She was very prompt, attentive, welcoming and made sure we had everything that was needed without asking her☺. She’s for sure a keeper! Thanks so much AK!!!!

We had the Gambino pizza and it was delicious! The crust was crispy but not too thin. The spinach & artichoke appetizer was also quite good. The kids had half pepperoni and half cheese & loved it. You can tell they use high quality ingredients. We will definitely be back!

Sal & Mookie's is always great - our go-to order is the Greek salad with white balsamic dressing and the the 'Gambino' pizza (white pizza with cheese, ricotta, and sausage) - it is amazing.

If you do want a great spot for a quick lunch on weekdays, they have 'slice specials' for lunch each day, too.

Always great food and service here!

Always a good experience when visiting there. Customer service is always good. The pizza and milkshake was too good.

Visiting from Texas and been coming to Jackson since I was a kid.

Me and my wife needed some good late night Italian food.

This place is it.

The pasta is delicious, the pizza is delicious, I HIGHLY recommend this place 100%.

Some of the best Italian food I have ever had. The Pizza was amazing and the ingredients were so fresh. Don't skip the ice cream sundae for dessert!

Food was delicious! We didn’t have a long wait at all and our waitress A.K. was by far the best waiter I have ever had. She was beyond amazing!

I am a garlic lover; so I always ask for extra roasted garlic anywhere I go. Most places are so stingy with the amount they’ll put on a pizza, but not Sal&Mookie’s! They exceeded my expectations and I can genuinely say, as someone who has lived in NY before. This is the best pizza I have ever tasted in my entire life! Highly recommend anyone go try this place and this location especially!

Great pizza and great hand dipped ice cream!! Our sever Anita was great! The pizza picture below is the Meat packer top and the 4 trains with no red onions on the bottom. The spicy bbq on the 4 trains was not too spicy at all. Both were very good pizzas and would get again!!
