Primos consistently offers delicious food, great menu options, professional service and is one of our family favorites! Whether it's a blue plate special, one of their amazing salads or one of their cakes, it's always good food. When my parents come up from the Coast - and they are very particular- they request we grab lunch at PRIMOS!

Great experience. Walked in and you have to order at the front desk then you go and sit in a booth/table. They bring your order to you. The menu serves breakfast ALL DAY!! They have weekly specials as well. Prices were very reasonable. My omelet, bacon, hash browns, and biscuit was only 12$. They have an entire section of just desserts! It was very clean and even with a lot of people it wasn’t loud. It was a great experience and kids would love this place.

Everytime I've been to the Primos on Lakeland Drive they aren't as friendly and helpful as the location in Madison. Madison location is absolutely wonderful and I'll definitely be back. Thank you for making my husbands 66th birthday very special with wonderful food and service.

I went to Primo’s Cafe in Madison, MS yesterday and ordered the Fried Chicken blue plate with 2 sides including green beans and mac n’ cheese. When I tell y’all the chicken was the best I’ve had in awhile, I truly mean it. They also serve a turkey and dressing blue plate on Thursdays as well. They are open Monday through Saturday serving 2 blue plate options each day along with serving breakfast all day as well. Also, if you have room for dessert, don’t forget to check out their takeaway area where they have cookies, brownies and different slices of cake as well. I love this restaurant because it has been a staple of Jackson way before my time when the original restaurants were off State Street and Capitol Street. I would recommend this restaurant to all of my friends, family, and anyone traveling or passing through Madison. Give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

I usually come here for breakfast and I always get their Early Bird Platter. Everyone is so friendly, the food is great, and the desserts are even better. Highly recommend if you don’t get anything else at least try their GRITS!!Also for those who don’t eat pork they have turkey sausage.

My family and I eat here on Saturday mornings--maybe 2 times a month (or more, if possible). I have eaten there at lunch/dinner, but prefer the breakfast more!

The desserts are excellent! Grab a cake to eat after dinner on Sundays (or any day) to enjoy with coffee and family. You'll be glad you did!

This was my first time eating at this Resturant. It was opened to serving people inside, following the guidelines established for safety to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
It was great for social distancing and enjoying a meal. A friend and I sat in a step up side booth, where the visibility to the area outside was very good.
The eating area also had tables and chairs, which some were left open for the correct social distancing .
It was a Wednesday, and they had blue plate specials. There was a choice if meatloaf or chicken pot pie, in addition to 3 sides. It was a tremendous amount of food, which was a a bit pricey for lunch.
But, you drink and refills were included.
With a tip ,it was $31. Maybe, I'm cheap and I did leave a $4 tip,
Anyway, the food was very good and generous portions.
They had large slices of cake , several varieties and abundance of all. It was about another $4 or so. So, I passed on it.
The employees were polite and friendly in their service.
If you are wanting a very nice home style
Meal, this is your place in Madison.

My wife and I are trying new places to eat from, and this was our first time at Primos. The ordering process was new. When you enter, you walk to the counter and place your order. You are given a number and seat yourself and get you beverages from the drink counter. When your food is ready, they bring it to your table. The restaurant was cleaned inside and outside and decorated nicely. The food was great and the staff was very courteous.

Picked up fudge brownies and lemon bars in the pickup area for family's Christmas celebration. As always, everything was perfect.

Takes me back to my youth. Love the old fashioned food served with love. It's busy during the lunch and dinner time, but the line to order moves quick. Food is brought to the table. My grandchildren love the pancakes, but us adults love the main dishes and the great veggies. Wide choice of selection from catfish to veggie plate and all the meats in-between.

This place is down home and delicious without being farm-like or country. My husband and I had blue plate specials. I had turkey and dressing, okra and tomatoes, squash casserole and a roll. He had fried chicken, black-eyed peas and cornbread. Now hubby demolishes chicken breasts on a regular basis but he couldn’t even finish his. It was fantastic. I know because I tried it. We made the sides family style. Amazing. We hem hawed about leaving then we gave in and shared some strawberry cake. Melt in your mouth. You’ll know where to find us on Thursday night.
