French Broad Community

After some troubled times, this place has done a complete turn around. Shelves are full and beer cave is packed. Gas pumps are working. There's even Hero's Pizza with very delicious pizza, spaghetti, manicotti, etc for take out. It's fun to be a part of such an eclectic community store. I'm thrilled they are back, better than ever.

A few months ago, I would have given them a 4 star but suddenly they have NO STOCK in that store of anything ever. For example, I go in every day and buy two packs of cigarettes. They haven't bothered to get my brand in in over a month. If that's how they take care of their regular customers, good luck being a casual customer. They have now, on average, a selection of two brands of cigarettes. Hope you smoke one of them! Otherwise, don't waste your time. Go to Gosset's-THEY know who their bread n butter are!
Update: they have new owners now and are SO much better! They now have everything in stock again. I am changing my rating now as they have greatly improved!

Closed at 930 pm just when I need gas. Usually friendly and well stocked.

Why do they have a number here that doesn't work??

They have nothing in stock. They are ALWAYS out of cigarettes and have been for over a month. Gas is way to high.
