Sawmills Veterans Park

Awesome paved walking trail with views and benches.

This was a small walking trail that has just been done nice walk but very hot and make sure to bring extra water

The park has great views! Great place to walk or run, fun for the kids! Sawmills has very well maintained parks. I love the patriotic feel of this park and water access area!

Great places to Fish off the bank or the dock. . Great boat landing. A park for the kiddos and restrooms and there are also a couple picnic tables.

This is such a awesome place to see the Veterans Memorial and on down where you can go fishing and put your boat in they have lots of areas where you can just go hang out and just be so peaceful. It is beautiful there

Walked my dog Chai, beautiful place to dedicate to veterans! There should be more parks like this many people go there to relax and thank the veterans 😁

Loved it nice and shady for A hot summer day. A great place to play golf disk. Trails nicely mapped out.

Good docking spot to put boats into water. Also good fishing, no camping or swimming allowed

Very clean kid, friendly and safe environment to take your kids to play the blow off a little extra thing at the end of the day

Absolutely gorgeous disc golf park. Not beginner friendly but very rewarding if you stay ok the fairway.

Decent boat ramp, neat little playground for the kids. Updated walking path. I go for the disc golf course it's great. Just updated and looking better than ever.

This a great place! There are baseball fields, a soccer field, there is also an in process addition to the excellent paved walking path through the park boat access to Rhodiss lake,and not to mention one of the best disc golf course in the area. All the staff are friendly. Check it out

i found this delightful park recently with fantastic disc golf courses (plenty of woodsy leg work and climbing involved), plus soccer and baseball fields and a boat launch. very clean and sparingly used. good place to walk but hiking trail is less than a mile. you can hike the disc golf courses, but prepare for quite a hike

Nicely kept park. We played on the playground while the husband played disk golf, everyone left happy and satisfied

The two disc golf courses here are a regular go-to for our family.
I love the little 9-hole woods course. It was the first place I ever parred and birdied a hole.
The long course is more challenging, but has a good variety of terrain and challenges.
Be prepared for hillsides and steps.
They keep the course well-maintained, and keep the poison ivy at bay
