First time to this location last weekend, on a Saturday, at lunchtime. Place was booming! Parking lot was full, which is usually a good sign to me! ( I understand with a full parking lot, there'd be a delay in possible seating / small wait time for food to be ready. ) While I waited, I passed the time looking around at the view & the location. ( Pictures will be included 😍 ) Then I finished by shopping in their very clean & organized market. I bought 4 shirts. & I wanted more honestly 🤣. Let me tell you... My food was worth the wait ! Definitely fresh. I love that I can tell they care about the product they sell. In the ingredients & the quality of the outcome. I definitely recommend going to The Copper Penny Grill - Lake Hickory location ! * I did not go to the lower level bar or the lakeside patio - I was crunched for time but cannot wait to go back and explore more! 🤍👍🫶✨🙌

Had the sliders and onion petals, both were delicious. Cool atmosphere too as it is right on the lake/river. Would highly recommend

Our cousin brought us here for lunch after a morning of shopping. There were 9 of us with 4 of those being kids. I wasn't sure how this would go. We were seated outside downstairs, and there were plenty of things to keep the kids occupied while waiting on the food. The best part was that the kids' food came out first!!! That is a huge thing for parents of young children. After they finished eating, they again played while the adults finished and could easily see the kids playing. Our server was fabulous as well as the food! As an out of towner, I would definitely recommend stopping by.

My husband and I had a quiet little "day date" here today. We had lunch and drinks outside by the water. Y'all this place is a hidden gem! Sitting on the patio, in the sun along the river, was a perfect afternoon! Our server Danielle was truly the sweetest person, and the food was delicious. We can't wait to have another beautiful day date, or to return with friends, in the evening under the patio lights.

What a great restaurant! We've been in NC just over a year and are so bummed we only just discovered this place! I got the hot wings, and my husband got the bourbon burger and everything was so good. Great atmosphere and our server Alex was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and plan on making this a regular place for our family!

Food was great! The service was amazing, we loved the waitresses, would highly recommend this place to eat for lunch. We got the onion petals and they were AMAZING! I would definitely come back here. There is nothing bad about this place. We came to this place towards winter so it wasn’t very packed but the waitress said that in the summer it’s very busy. They also have a dock outside so that people on boats go and dock, get off the boat and walk up and get food. Also have amazing patio area. Beautiful place to go, will definitely go back this summer!

Meal was excellent and service above and beyond. Our server (Samira) made our lunch and drinks memorable. We will be back to see her- we love coming here!

We had a huge group celebrating several birthdays at once and our wait staff handled everything with grace. We were a lot to keep up with, some of us were inside others were outside so they had a lot going on. Great atmosphere and I loved the outdoor space, live music, another bar area, Cornhole, even some games for the kids. Let's not forget about the view, something about watching the water is so relaxing. This was my first time there and I was definitely pleased. We will definitely be coming back!

This place has some really good food and beer choices. It is crowded, but that's only because it's a place you want to be. The views are nice. Live music is always a plus. Crab cake slider, wings, and Carolina BLT was Bomb.

The food is amazing and they offer a great selection of drinks. We went by boat with family members. The wait was less than 20 minutes. This location is new so they need time to work out a few things…like people being seated after us getting their food before us but overall our party of four had a great evening. We will definitely go back!

We had a great experience, our server who is usually a bartender was helping out by being a waitress as well as very pregnant she did a awesome job taking care of us and went above and beyond.

Was absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and the bartender who waited on us was super attentive! She brought a refill for all of us even remember the extra lemons for my water without having to ask! We will definitely be back 😁

IT WAS MY 1st TIME AS I WENT FOR EARLY VALENTINES DINNER. THE ATMOSPHERE RELAXED. THE VIEW WAS DELIGHTFUL. THE FOOD WAS DELIVERED PROPERLY & IN A TIMELY MANNER. THERE WAS A LIVE BAND SCHEDULE FOR THAT EVENING & THEY WERE JUST GETTING STARTED AS I WAS LEAVING. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. BETWEEN THE DOCKING FROM THE WATER THERE IS PARKING FOR LAND LOVERS.

I was traveling for business and found this nice little gem off the beaten path along the water just outside of town. We had a business lunch here and we’re not disappointed!

The food and service were exceptional. The menu had a bit of variety and there was something for everyone. We sat outside on the deck and the view is very nice. It was a very enjoyable experience.

I would absolutely hang out at this place if I lived in the area. However, I most likely will be traveling here more for business and will certainly visit them again.

They are awesome here! Sold me some ice for my cooler. Food is great! Drinks are cold! Service is wonderful! Great dock for the boats! I've only been here coming from the waterside, but the entire place is cool!

Birthday dinner prime rib was excellent They had a pipe break in the ceiling and had to shut the place down that night
