Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria

I’m a NC native! On my regular trips to Beech this is a must stop and sometimes a twice stop! Best pizza I’ve had in all of NC. you can’t beat the views and the people are lovely. It’s a local haven for anyone who enjoys fresh pizza and the dough is fresh and amazing. It has a nice crunch and you get all the flavor from the meat! Oh yes…do stop and do enjoy yourselves. 10/10

Great top of the mountain atmosphere and freaking good pizza! The crust was fantastic with a light butter and garlic. I got the meaty and got a large for $2 more than regular. Why not have leftovers? Fresh toppings and great sauce. Cheese was fantastically stretchy. Also got a gluten free crust for my wife, who has Celiac. No sickness or gut issues after, which if you know you know so two thumbs up.

Whenever we are in North Carolina, we feel obligated to come to this pizzeria. My God!!! how delicious these pizzas are, and the price is very good!!! The staff are polite and always smiling!!! When you want to try the best pizzas in the USA, come and visit Brick Oven Pizza!!! For us the best are: Margarita and Havaiana!!!❤❤❤

Great food! Went here twice on our vacation! Pizza has a thick hearty crust the kind that’s hard to find down south. Sauce had good flavor. They don’t over use the cheese so the pizza comes out perfect. Nice arcade for the kids to play in while you wait for food. Also had Pepsi products which is always a win!!!

First time visitors and we were HIGHLY impressed. When we first walked in, it seems very lively and bustling, and we must’ve looked overwhelmed. Hunter, an employee of some sort, noticed our confusion and took over. He told us where to go, what to do, and got us menus to go over while we waited. The line was almost out the door with the dining room FULL, but the line moved quickly and the tables rotated out efficiently. We had no issues finding seating. We tried a 1/2 margherita, 1/2 meaty pizza (AMAZING), the garlic cheese bread (DELICIOUS), and the Caribbean Jerk wings (YUMMM). For dessert, I had tiramisu (the stuff DREAMS are made of) and my husband had the chocolate cake (SO RICH!). My husband also enjoyed the HUGE selection of beers. I will definitely look forward to returning to the Beech Mountain area, and I will certainly be eating here every time I’m in the area. The service and the food were absolutely top notch. If they had homemade ranch, this place would literally be perfect. As is, it is still absolutely outstanding. Highly recommend.

You know how you go somewhere and it's really good so you go back rather than trying something new? Yeah, that's what we did with Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria. Twice in three days to be exact.

The first time we had the works pizza, the meaty calzone, and the house salad. Second time was the monalizza calzone, wings, and house salad.

Listen, I'm here for the calzones. The crust on the calzone (and pizza) is SO GOOD. It's not too thick but still delightfully doughy—chewy in a good way. I'm not a huge tomato sauce person which is the only reason I'm raving about the calzone over the pizza.

I enjoyed the wings, but they did forget to give us a second sauce so they were naked for no reason. No big deal.

The house salad is a decent size because they really pack it into the container. Lots of toppings in there but it's Kens prepackaged dressing.

The cookies are huge but I can't say that I tried it.

We picked it up for takeout but the vibe.of the restaurant was upbeat with love music on a Sunday night. This place seems solid to me.

Brick oven pizza is excellent. We have been enjoying for years. Thick crust and super fresh ingredients. Lots of unique beers too. Right behind is a hill for kids to enjoy sledding. Green building across the street rents a sled or saucer for $11 or buy for $20.

Friendly hardworking crew all around I experienced. Busy so we did wait. But pizza was solid and cheese sticks rocked. Wanted to try cheese bread. It looked awesome

Pizza was amazingggg! Really loved the wings too. The habanero mango were my favorite. It’s a fun place to wait for your food to come out with all of the arcade games. They also have a nice beer selection. Cool inside with lots of fun decor and a train that circles the ceiling. Wish we had this near us in charlotte!

Incredible place! Super nice staff and they were able to accommodate our large group of 11 (including kids) with ease. The atmosphere and beer selection was awesome and the arcade was a big bonus. We will definitely be back!

What an amazing family pizza place. Just name it! You have the best homemade pizza. So many varieties from meat lovers, ricotta heads and veggies. Chicken wings with so many sauces to choose from. They have an arcade inside to back so folks and play as they wait or just enjoy the heck outta the place with a beer. Plenty of seating. A dessert station and a liquor, wine, beer section for the adults. Based on top of Beech Mountain, NC elevation at 5,506' you will definitely enjoy not only dining but making memories here.

Delicious pizza with the perfect combo of soft and crispy crust. They have gluten free options. If you can’t decide on what pizza you want, they can do half & half. We had a large group and that’s what we chose to do to make it the best of both worlds. Full bar and fabulous selection of canned/bottled beer.

The mini golf was so much fun! You do have to pay to play, but you can also chose to play and not eat. They offer a great selection of house-made desserts, ice cream and milkshakes. Awesome vibes and the kids will love all the memorabilia around the store. Perfect for families.

We had a great time at the pizzeria! We initially stopped in to play putt putt and stayed for lunch. I am so glad we did. The pizzeria is a really unique restaurant that has lots of seating both inside and out. There is a dessert section with desserts made on site and an ice cream parlor located next to the arcade.
The pizza was a little pricey but worth it! We were able to try different kinds of pizzas by doing half and half pizzas, which I highly recommend. Try the bar b que chicken pizza- you can’t go wrong. Take time to look around! We loved watching the trains and spotting the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hanging from the ceiling.
The mini golf was fun. You pay one fee and can play as much as you want. I hope that you enjoy it as much as we did.
There is a sign that says that you can order the cheesy bread if the wait for pizza is long. It tastes amazing, so do it- even if the line is short.

Sooooo good! Mozzarella sticks are a major need to eat! They're so cheesy and big! The wings were great to, they're deep fried so they're nice and crispy but still tender.

Brick Oven was crazy busy at 3:30 in the afternoon but it is ski season. We ordered takeout and didn't get our food until about 4:30. Buffalo Chicken pizza, Hawaiian pizza(yes I AM one of THOSE people, pineapple on pizza), chicken wings, and mozzarella sticks.

My pizza was really good and the mozzarella sticks were larger than other restaurants. My husband was not so happy with his pizza because they use tomato sauce based on a Buffalo chicken pizza and his wings were a little overdone.

This place is always busy, but for good reason. The pizza here is amazing. They use a very good quality cheese, and plenty of it. It's cooked all the way through without being burnt. The pizza is cooked fresh. The only negative about the pizza is that they are small. A regular is 12 inches and the large is only 14 inches. They have signs posted warning that it can take up to an hour for pizza orders to be ready if they're busy, but luckily mine was ready in less than 30 minutes. The staff is friendly and hustling to get everyone taken care off. Orders are placed at the counter and your name is called out when your order is ready. They also have a bakery and an arcade.

This place was insanely busy and filled with wonderful employees who were cranking things out like it was no big deal. We were greeted, told what to do, and although it was seat yourself someone asked us while in line to order if we needed help finding a table. The lady who took our order was completely knowledgeable of the menu and friendly.
The food was delicious - had pizzas, a burger and the cookies. We all liked the bready type crust on the pizzas. It was kinda pricey but the food and experience was so great, we didn't mind.

Fun place! Lots of options to choose from to eat and drink. The bruchetta was delicious!

I was a little surprised at the prices for the pizza. Definitely check a menu before you go! Especially if you have a big crowd.

Overall, great experience and delicious food!

Pizza was amazing! And we had fun in the game area, staff were friendly. I would totally visit again :)
