We used to order take out from tanoshii for years and good friends with the ex-owner. Few months ago they decide retired and sell this restaurant, not quite often order the food now. But still. Hopping the new owner doing good ,

Not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from, but I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I've NEVER had an issue with my order. Food has always been accurate, hot, fresh and super delicious. The people are always friendly and I enjoy the service every time. There was one incident however, when I waiting an hour and 15 mins for my food to be delivered. Luckily I called at 9:55pm to get an answer that the delivery driver was on the way. Even then my food was still hot and fresh. No complaints here!

The food was great. I ordered steak and chicken hibachi. The portions were plenty, and their prices were definitely affordable.

Agree with the other reviewer- best Americanized- Chinese food in Winston! They have both our favorites- sesame tofu and hibachi udon noodles, and everything was delicious! Definitely making this a regular stop.

Best Chinese food I’ve had out here in N.C! Hands down! I’m from Boston Mass and have ate at numerous chinese spots out here and none compared to back home like this place did. I will never eat from another Chinese spot again. This is it! The best they take the crown. And delivery was efficient and the customer service was exceptional. I would give more stars if I could.

Been coming here for years and it’s still one of the best Asian cuisines in town :) I only come here about once a month but the sweet lady (I think she is the owner) is always super nice and remembers me! My usual order is the chicken udon soup with a sticky bun and sticky rice in a lotus leaf ❤ Love you all!

I've been ordering from this restaurant since 2010, and I can say with absolution that I have NEVER been dissatisfied! The delivery guy is like an old friend. We order from work, I order from home and I love their food! It's soooo tasty! I'm just about to order right now🤗😋

I love Tanoshii. The food here has always been great. Can get a bit pricey but is definitely worth it. Couple that with being able to order Chinese or Japanese fare and you can't beat it. This is a go to if you want the same standard as a Japanese steakhouse but the convenience of takeout or even delivery.

So im from south central of Pennsylvania i order usual as it is from another place. I asked if they serve bbq pork with red sauce something like that and they have said they havent make those for a while. Impressive that you know which one! I am very appreciative of you guys whoever made them it is yummy i love the sauce warms my boost mood! Happy customer!

Great food and atmosphere.

I absolutely love this place. I’ve been here countless times and have never been disappointed. The owners come out every time and ask if everything is okay and always checks on myself and my boyfriend. It’s always great and I’ll definitely be coming back until the end of time.

Absolutely the BEST pork fried rice my boyfriend and I have ever had! Very flavorful and not too greasy. The crab rangoon are full of crab meat - higher ratio of crab meat to cream cheese. The boneless spare ribs are not tiny candied pieces of meat, but rather larger and very tender pieces. Oh and they deliver which is the biggest plus for us.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, & you get chinese or hibachi food here. I always try something new, because I've never been disappointed with their selections.

I went to Tanoshii for the first time today and I can honestly say that I enjoyed it! I had the teriyaki chicken with a spring roll, vegetables, brown rice and white sauce. It was not greasy or heavy and it was delicious. The lady who rung me up was also nice and helpful.

Best pork fried rice ever! Great food, clean and attractive restaurant and pleasant owner. Choose from Chinese or Japanese menu. Love the vegetable choice, I order zucchini and onions. Try their hot and sour soup!

The food is wonderful. What really sets them apart from any other dining facility in the Triad is how they make you feel like family. I have been dining with these wonderful folks for over 10 years
