Holiday Inn Express & Suites Winston - Salem SW - Clemmons, an IHG Hotel

I went a few months back and had a great experience. There was a wonderful young man by the name of Anthony that made my experience that much better. He displayed top notch leadership, customer service, and was an overall pleasure to be around. I recommend this hotel to anybody that needs accommodations

During our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express, we had the pleasure of interacting with Adam, the front desk manager, who provided an outstanding service experience. From the moment we arrived, Adam's warm welcome set the tone for our entire stay. His attentiveness and genuine care were evident in every interaction.Adam's dedication to his role went far beyond the call of duty. He consistently demonstrated an incredible level of professionalism, coupled with a personal touch that made us feel truly valued as guests. His efforts to accommodate our needs and ensure our comfort were exceptional. I was there for the DJ Cassidy PassThe Mic concert, the drive from the hotel to the colliseum wasn't bad at all.

This is a cozy hideaway hotel, there is an incredible restaurant called Breakfast Time that is about 5 minutes away..... definitely worth visiting.

Hotel is very clean, staff is so helpful and friendly. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. However, the sports bar across the street is exceptionally loud until after 1am so be sure to ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.

Great hotel, super service.
Only issue is finding hotel with Google Maps. Other than Google getting us to a bank instead of a hotel the stay was great! Buffet is well stocked with a good variety of food options and friendly staff.
We would definitely recommend this location.

Adam at the front desk checking in went above and beyond to accommodate us. Good breakfast and very quiet when we stayed. Lady at desk in the am was so nice and would definitely recommend if ever needed to stay in the area.

LOOVE this location. The staff is amazing, and my mom, my girls, and I loved staying here. Their breakfast was fresh and pretty good, surprisingly. Most hotels have really bad breakfast options. Not this one. They are on point. The pool is so clean, and bathrooms are immaculate. They are doing a great job running this hotel! They treated us so, so well. We will return to this location soon. We loved being there. Felt right at home!

Absolutely love this hotel! Stay here everytime I’m in Winston- Salem for work. Location is absolutely perfect with tons of food, shopping, a nail saloon, a planet fitness, and a grocery store that’s all within a couple minute walk from the hotel!

The staff here is amazing too, Cassandra at the front desk is absolutely wonderful and true gem to talk too. All the staff here make it feel like a home away from home!

Great accommodations and budget friendly! The facility was clean and well appointed. The room was clean, in great condition and the bed very comfortable. We had a suite and there was an in-room microwave and mini-fridge. The complimentary breakfast was good, plentiful and offered a variety of options (cheese omelets, biscuits, sausage, gravy, pastries, pancakes, cereal, yogurt and hot coffee). I'll definitely stay here again...and I rarely say that.

My dad and I stayed here for a night during our travels. The hotel itself was nice and clean, while the staff was very friendly. After we left, my dad realized he misplaced an item at the hotel. Crystal and Theresa went above and beyond helping him locate the item and mailing it to his location. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Stayed here on a trip to Wake Forest. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is great . Many choices . Pool was a little dirty but usable. Excellent location with many stores and restaurants around. Comfortable beds and full-sized Dove products in the restroom. Keurig coffee machine, microwave, and fridge included.

Great place to stay. Staff was great, very clean, nice rooms. Plenty of parking for cars and trucks and trailers. Well lit parking lot. Would definitely stay here again!! 5 Stars Baby!!!

Wife and daughter stayed here for a Volleyball tournament. They loved this Holiday Inn and had a great stay!

Clean!!!!!!! I honestly went in thinking I would get what I paid for and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was reasonably priced and the location was perfect. Directly across the street from dining, spa and massage building, cute little sports bar, bike shop, etc. I thoroughly checked my room, the hallway, floors, front desk counter for dirt. As a healthcare professional, I am constantly checking hygiene and quality service. The people were very friendly. Cindy at the front desk handled the customers with professionalism and courtesy. The professional who maintained the cleanliness of the building was always working to maintain a good standard. I’ve attached photos but they are nothing compared to being here. Family friendly and safe. It is very hard to impress me because I drive quality and improve processes for a living, however; this was a great visit and I wouldn’t be able to recommend any improvements here.

I RARELY give out 5 stars to hotel. Front desk smiles when the see you and treats you nicely. Design and furniture chic and new. The room is CLEAN. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Wi-Fi is fast and doesn’t keep dropping.

The free breakfast is much better than most hotel breakfasts I have eaten in the past. They have this cool automatic machine that cooks the pancakes in front of you (a HUGE plus for my 7 year old). The dining area is large enough to accommodate about 40-50 people. There is a comfortable lounge area with places to charge laptop/phone.

Got kids? Great. They have an indoor pool! I would recommend being a towel from your room because I don’t remember seeing a towel station.

For those gym-heads like me, the gym is more than adequate and includes treadmills, elliptical, rowing machine, exercise ball, scale, and free weights up to 50 pounds. NOTHING BROKEN! It is well maintained, and the equipment are newer. There are automatic water refills in several places. If that doesn’t suit you, there is a nice YMCA less than 8 minutes away.

Plenty of food within walking distance (including a PUBLIX supermarket).

Honestly, I didn’t expect all this quality for the low price. And managers, please don’t read these good reviews and raise the price! Keep up the good work.

Super clean and new (Aug 2022). We got a hospitable, friendly welcome. Spacious room,, comfy bed with clean sheets, large and spotless bathroom. Breakfast was good as hotel breakfasts go. The only downside was that the water pressure in the shower wasn't strong. It takes twice as long to shower.

WOW! This hotel stay was incredible. The room are beyond nice, and completely clean. This stay was more comfortable than a Ritz Carlton I stayed at recently, literally. There's also plenty of restaurants and bars nearby so you don't have to go anywhere for food. This place is well worth the stay!

Me and my daughters had an amazing time during our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the cleanliness with overall appearance was outstanding. Big thank you to the lady at the front desk that helped to make my daughters 10th birthday a very memorable one. She was so happy! I didn't get her name but she didn't hesitate to help me during my time of need. Thank you again. May God continue to bless you. And the artwork displayed throughout the hotel was awesome!
