Some fire fighters were called out to the restaurant that we were at for breakfast this morning. Once they were done handling the issue in the back of the house, one of them was nice enough to run outside and get my 3 year old son a kids fireman’s hat. They were really nice to him and seeing their truck pull up outside truly made his day. A big thanks to the man with the rather impressive mustache!

I want to give you guys a shout out to all the fire fighters that arrived at the loft apartments tonight. Super friendly and enjoyed the company of our kids after being hero’s. The two gentlemen gave our children their own hats so thank you!!! You might have a jr fire fighter in the future!

I was locked out of my house on a Sunday and the firemen were able to access a way to open my storm door and give me access.
They were efficient and extremely considerate and helpful.

Randy was so amazing! He was so nice to our toddler and let him play with a real fire truck! He was a true public figure and showed our son what a hero really is :)

Brought my son to see a fire truck. The fire fighter, Randy, wasn't dealing with a call and was happy to show us the truck. He was very nice. Thank you fire station 9 for giving my child an experience he won't soon forget.

Our alarms go off in our building about once or twice a week.
The alarms are so loud that they're killing my baby's hearing and my wife's and all of our animals.

The decibel range has to be higher than safe for people's hearing especially a baby.

The alarm goes off so many times the majority of people here do not even leave their apartment; making the whole point of having a fire alarm mute.

When I saw the fireman I asked him if they could lower the volume some on the more loud fire alarms in the building. They were very rude and said that's the way it's supposed to be. They could have at least said, "we'll check the decimal levels." I guess the only care about fire and not people's hearing health. I guess it's much like the backup alarms on trucks and equipment. Once something's for safety they never change it even if it's performing the adverse effect. People just start wearing heavier ear plugs or just ignore it after they go death.

It goes off so many times anyway if there's an actual fire a lot of people are going to die.

I know the firemen do an awesome job and they put their lives online but there's also other things to worry about in this world like our hearing.
