Carries dewalt flex volt and milwaukee unlike lowes, also substantially cheaper than lowes, example being 8 inch dewalt plug in table saw is $400 at lowes while just $300 at New River, both stores, Boone and Beech Mountain area have very helpful friendly staff, they offer discounts if you get an account with them as well. Not to mention they are local and have better quality wood.

I use this building supply regularly. Great service, they address me by name, and are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about products. Even obscure or little known things, like log gap caps, that bigger stores know nothing about. If it's made, they either have it or can get it for you! Best in town.

The store is attractive, hospital clean, and well stocked. The ladies at the counter are great and they are phenomenally helpful and knowledgeable. They are very much appreciated.

Needed some paint nd heard New river was the place to go. Unlike Lowes the paint dept was 10 steps in and the help was right there. Got my paint mixed, in & out 15 minutes.
Prices were better than Lowes.

Went there to buy a treager timberline grill there were very friendly helped me with what i needed and they had the best deal around great place to shop
