Alfresco Bistro

The atmosphere is warm and rustic. The food was fabulous! Best risotto and veal I've ever had. Lauren our server was friendly and service was quick. It was Jazz night, so this made for a great atmosphere.

What a great find. The food was outstanding. We really like the atmosphere. Our server was new, and being coached by her co-workers. Heather did a wonderful job,( as did the co-worker teaching her). We can't wait to get back to Georgetown and enjoy this little gem again. Alfresco Bistro is a must try. If you haven't been there, give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Had dinner here a couple of weeks ago while driving through the area on a very rainy evening. Town was very quiet and we were the only ones eating that evening. The dinner was delicious and probably one of the best I have every had. The staff was attentive and the music, thank goodness, was of low volume and nice guitar instrumentals. Certainly recommend this restaurant.

Uniquely Delicious Cuisine. At first I wasn’t sure what to expect when reviewing the menu. I usually stick with pretty straight forward items on a menu. Our waitress however was wonderful and convinced us to try something new on the menu, the avocado and crab meat appetizer (pictured) and it was fantastic! After that appetizer, we continued to follow the waitresses suggestions and We both loved the meals to follow. Chef Eddie, who prepared our meals, really loves what he does and his passion is reflected in his wonderful creations. And a special thank you to our waitress for the care she took with us.

The atmosphere is so nice(especially the court yard) . Everything is so delicious. Especially love the bread and the herb oil & butter.

What a gem! Beautiful little Italian Bistro. The food was great quality and really delicious. (We had Calamari, Veal Marsala, and Grouper Francaise with Linguini). Professional, friendly, timely service. We visited for the first time this week, getting there late on a weeknight. Although we were dressed down, coming from a ball game, and were the last 2 customers of the night, they were very welcoming and did not make us feel rushed. Ambiance was equal to a fine dining Authentic Italian restaurant in Little Italy. Nicely decorated, fine dining quality table settings. A great place for a date night or business lunch. They have a room that can be sectioned for a gathering/party. Prices were reasonable. They started around $8 appetizers, around $12-18 for small plates to $20-$30 for full meals.

This was really an impressive place. It may not look that nice from the outside but the inside is beautiful. Really dig the atmosphere, very romantic.

The food was excellent and very unique which is nice in a city dominated by the same 6 dishes at every restaurant. This place had some original interesting dishes.

The beer and wine selection was also very nice.

This is a nice hidden gem in Georgetown. Certainly worth a visit for lunch or dinner.

Absolutely delicious!!! Tasty and hot. Salad was crisp, lite dressing. Mussels were perfectly seasoned and steamed. Shrimp scampi perfectly seasoned as well and hot. Truly a enjoyable experience.

This Bistro far exceeded my expectations. The owner and chef personally came out to greet us. I ordered the shrimp and Scallops, and they were seared perfectly as to keep the juices in. You can tell the Chef is experienced...

Local owned. From Hostess to our Server, Service was outstanding. Four of us dinners, we all felt as if we we very welcomed family. Appetizer of Breaded Mozzarella Cheese, hearty and tasty served with Marina Sauce. Cups of Wild Mushroom Lobster Bisque, so large a serving that we thought they were bowels! Creamy and very flavourful. Crab Salad ( real crab...I asked) with awesome greens, apple, walnuts , red peppers and asparagus. Homemade Balsamic...could not finish it all. Crabmeat stuffed Portebella Mushrooms, served hot.. again delicious with a generous serving. Two had Fried Flounder Sandwiches ( crisp and NOT greasy), one with a Side salad, one with homemade Potato Salad... served with a generous portion of Grapes on the side. No room for desert today. We went in on a Saturday around noon. There are two sides of the restaurant, comfortable and kinda old world. We all would definitely go back, none of us had any complaints!

We went for lunch. It was great! They offered a soup or salad plus entree. Not only was the soup and salad flavorful but oyr meal and the service was excellent. Highly suggest this for your dining experience! Yum!

Excellent bistro. Light, tasty Italion fare. Not overly spiced and garlicky like many Italian restaurants. Good wine, decent portions, friendly staff, very nice atmosphere and moderate prices in the heart of Front Street in Georgetown.

Don’t miss the Calamari I’ve never had it any better anywhere!

I haven’t found anything on Chef Eddy’s menue I didn’t love and wouldn’t recommend
The Italian food is all fantastic
Homemade sauces such as lemon chicken or veal picatta
Salmon is always a winner and they offer sauce choices
Steaks are perfection
Fresh ground cheeses
Happy hour with free cheese assortment
Oh and the entertainment on weekends is also a must do !

If you are on the fence about this place, go for it you won't be disappointed. Amazing, attentive, and friendly staff. Linguine and clams with the fra diavolo sauce was delicious, serve with an a bond ancestors of clams and just enough heat to not talk away from the other flavors but to give it that pop. It had my taste buds dancing! Fresh hot bread serve with a perfectly seasoned herb mix and oil. The herb butter alone was mouth watering. Perfect portion side, to leave you right on that edge of being full, but not uncomfortable. I cannot say enough about this place, it was full of energy almost like a live band was there. It was such a great atmosphere felt like a warm and homely place.

Our meals were scrumptious! The atmosphere was cozy & our waiter, Laura, was professional, yet friendly! Italian Creme Cake will be tested at home!

Delicious Italian food, very nice place.

I really enjoyed the Sunday brunch! Great service and exceptional dishes were presented. The flavor was fulfilling! Loved the tuna nachos!

I had the shrimp risotto with mushrooms and peas, which was absolutely wonderful. The salad and bread were fresh and tasty. Will be going back again.

Lunch was quick, delicious and plentiful. Sat outside in the sun and loaded up on pasta. I got to people watch the steady flow of foot traffic while dining.

My favorite place in Georgetown. They will make you a vegan wrap which is not on the menu. It is delicious. My non vegan friends were jealous.
