Big Tuna Raw Bar

A great experience "on the water." It was one of the "on the spur of the moment" decisions to eat at Big Tuna, right before everything turn busy. Our server seated us in no time, and served water and took our orders.
We both had flounder (which was prepared well - mine blackened, my partner fried) with cole slaw, and black beans and rice. My partner took fries.
The food, experience and service are all part of the reason to redo the experience (if I can just get my beer in a glass!).

A really great find for seafood! Thanks Google! We ate outside & could people watch on the boardwalk & the boats in the harbor. I had the crab cakes, & they were excellent! Hubby had the fried grouper & said it was very good. The She Crab soup was tasty, would be awesome if the broth was a bit thicker, though. Saved room for the key lime pie, which was REALLY good! Our waitress was attentive & friendly. A word of caution, however: if you're in a hurry go to McDonald's, but if you're ready to sit back & relax & enjoy what this place has to offer, then go for it! Highly recommend👍👍👍

First time visiting Georgetown, we came for drinks but after sampling their awesome grits, we came back the next day to have lunch. Outside seating with a view, super nice staff and fun people. We will visit again next time we are in the area.

Great place for food and drinks. Everyone working there was super friendly and accommodating except for one lady, don’t know why she was cold towards me. She completely ignored me, but even gave the couple next to me two beers on the house, whereas I wanted another mineral water, which I never received.

For appetizers, we had the finger groupers. Then we split fried oysters. All very good and fresh. The waitress was very courteous and country as you can get. The place where we sat overlooked the view of the river inlet.

Stopped by with my family, granddaughter included, all our meals 8 of them the only thing wasn't right was the grouper fingers, they were small the size of half dollar and only 4, could do better guys

Great bowl of Gumbo to start off our lunch. My wife and I then split the seafood platter which had plenty of fried fish, oysters, shrimp and scallops to fill us up.

This place is pretty good. I wouldn’t say it’s the best in town but worth the view and the prices. Most things are fried but you have options. The fish sandwich was nicely done and not too greasy.

We took the scenic route home and came across this gem! The food is great, prices fair. It's right on the water! You can watch turtles while you eat!. Though by the docks, the day we were there, no strong fish smells were present. Just good food and relaxation!

Wonderful seared tuna and she crab soup. Loved yacking with Bucky the owner. Great old time atmosphere reminiscent of a time gone by. We will get there again before we leave for Ohio. A “must visit!!” Bob and Sue from Cleveland.

Had dinner with the my wife. I had steamed clams and she had the fried shrimp with black beans and rice, and coleslaw. Food was great. Prices reasonable.

Deck dining is available. Turtles and alligators swim to the top of the water hoping you will drop some food. We sat on the "back porch" and loved the room. Felt very rustic and low-country. Inside is nice with a nice bar.

Well stocked bar, and great beer selections, but I have my favorite. They give free coozies!

Being seated was a little longer than I'm used to.. but the Flounder sandwich was excellent. Would definitely visit again if I was going to be in the area.

If you enter from the dock side there's a whole separate building that is an awesome little fishing shack with decor to match! The Grouper Sandwhich was literally the best thing I ate on our week lo g vacation to Myrtle Beach area.

Locals frequent here. Fun place with lots of conversation. Shrimp and sausage gumbo is excellent.

The food was fresh and amazing. We had steamed clams & the fried seafood platter. Everything was piping hot and fresh. I will definitely be back next summer!

Great view of the Harborwalk in Georgetown, S.C. accompanies this awesome restaurant! The seafood platter will fill you right up and send you away happy! I recommend the shrimp & grits. So flavorful and plentiful.

We bought lunch which consisted of a burger and chicken sandwich. The food was very nicely cooked, the service was excellent and we ate in what I would call the side shake. It had a seaside feel and was air conditioned. It was great!

We decided one day to leave MB and just take a drive and ended up here!! We loved it! Hubby got a burger and I got a fish sandwich and both were so good. This was 2021. We didn’t make back last year but planning to this year. We loved the atmosphere, the view!!
