Buzz's Roost

We had the great pleasure of having lunch at Buzz's Roost this week. We ordered the fish sandwich, fish tacos, and a bacon cheeseburger...all great...all five stars. I attached a couple of photos to give everyone an idea of the atmosphere and the view... you be the judge. The service was top-notch. We are definitely going back again and again.

So we came on a busy Sunday, so we weren’t expecting too much of the service — that’s not why we went! But the server was very nice and helpful when it came down to it. No real problems there honestly. The food was awesome, ordered crab stuffed mushrooms and BBQ brisket nachos to start off and that really set the tone of our experience💯

If you are lucky enough to stumble upon this locals spot, you're in for a treat. Breathtaking on the water, enjoy the breeze, and some of the best mixed drinks use ever had... and I'm somewhat of a tequila sour expert. The crab balls are on point as a starter and I rate the Buzz's burger in my top five, AMAZING.

Nice place to eat located around back of the building. Great water view, but it was a little too windy for us so we ate inside. There's a little arcade section with skeeball and other games. The crab cake and grouper sandwiches were great and the fries were crispy. Service was friendly and quick.

One of the few restaurants in Georgetown that was open on Memorial Day, and it was busy! Lots of seating inside and out...the outdoor tables are covered with no direct sunlight, so that's a nice plus. We opted for the air conditioned indoor space, and there are a ton of TV's and a handful of video games. The food was better than expected...my wife really liked her brisket nachos, and my salad was very good (the homemade ranch dressing was delicious too). They've got a solid menu with options for all tastes, as well as the kids. We'd surely come back again on our next visit to Georgetown.

The food is great! Over the top even.
My wife had the mahi tacos and I had the smokehouse burger. Both were excellent.
The smokehouse burger had layers of flavor with the burger and brisket with the great sauce. It was a big meal but I managed to devour it, just couldn’t stop.
If you get a chance, this is a great place to eat.
The staff are friendly and check on you often.

Right there by the water. Came up from Charleston. The chicken nuggets(boneless wings,) were great. Also, they make great adult drinks. Will def check it out when it's not so cold.

First time there. Was late and there was a party going on. The food was great but there was a limited menu due to the grill being shut down. Got wings and onion rings. The onion rings were the bomb! The wings were great and what was expected.

This place has the best atmosphere for a Tuesday night! Live music (if birds could fly they are on Apple Music), a pretty view of the river walk and delicious food! We had the seafood mixed grill (Crabcake, grilled grouper and shrimp served with rice and vegetables). Looking for a cocktail for your view of the water? Try the boardwalk bum! Yum yum yum

Psttt… the outside patio is pet friendly. They give you a large bowl of water and will grill some plain chicken up for your dog!

Great Seafood Dishes! Excellent Bartenders and Staff. Warm and Friendly place to hangout. Definitely coming back for a visit.

Have been here a few times. Always have the grouper. Have eaten outside on the water and this last time inside due to cooler weather. Would definitely recommend.

This place was awesome & the cute little town it was nestled in was icing on the cake! Great food & even better bartender. I would give it more stars if i could. Thanks for a wonderful lunch!

Cool atmosphere, dark setting inside and patio seating outside on the water. Just tried the Smoked Gouda with Smoked BBQ Brisket. What a combination. It was delicious. Tried the Swap Fox mixed drink, very good as well. Wait staff was very accommodating and friendly. Definitely a great stop !

The food and beer was great! They have up and coming beers brewed in house, this will be a big hit. The blueberry, pineapple, and the stout were all fantastic. Zachary was our waiter and he was on top of it from greeting us, till we left our table. Would highly recommend this place!

We loved the stuffed mushrooms, burger & Buffalo chicken sandwich. If course, we had some adult beverages which were great also. We sat at the bar, they were outstanding, always hustling and friendly. Packed house, which is always nice, made for a lively place

Stopped in for a quick app and beer as I drove through town. I would highly suggest the Crab Balls. Great view, friendly staff (I love automatically getting a koozie with my beer!), pet friendly (even brought water for her without me asking). Have stopped here via boat in the past and had the fried shrimp and it was excellent!

The crab balls and crab stuffed mushrooms were delicious! Great atmosphere, right on the water. Super sweet staff. We will be back ❤

A fun environment with spectacular food. It was probably the best meal we had on our Georgetown vacation. A must visit!

What an awesome experience! I came to Georgetown for our anniversary and had our dinner here!

The food was incredible and the atmosphere was lively. They even had an entertainer! I ordered the calamari and the seafood platter.

The calamari was crisp and had a light sprinkle with cheese. They included a 3 pepper sauce that is to die for. I want this recipe! It was sweet, spicy with a little tang added to it, which perfectly complimented the calamari.

The seafood platter came with halibut, 3 crab balls, fried shrimp and a mess of french fries. Each bite I took was a wonderful experience, especially when I chose to use the 3 pepper sauce as a dip.

As I am writing this, I can feel my soul growl, hungry for the food and atmosphere at Buzz's Roost.

I dined alone and am often slighted and given a lousy table. This did not happen here also wish to add that the loaded stuffed baked potato was great
And since I had no room I I took a brandy bread pudding to go
