Trader Joe's

Unexpectedly low prices. Their private label products beat any other chain store prices in town. Private label product quality is really up there with the best you can get. The parking lot is a bit small, like the store itself. Probably 1/5 of the wall space is dedicated to wine, I assume they have whatever taste of wine you like. Their baguettes and bakery products are both high quality with extremely reasonable cost.
I'm definetly won as a customer.

Workers are friendly, the environment is a nice vibe, all is cleanly, they are inspection passed with a A/100. Saw that on my way out and thought "yeah they deserve that." A range and selection of great for the body mind and soul type foods there. Organics and quality goods. Love it. This is my go to place now for grocery shopping

Looking for great fresh flowers that are reasonably priced? This location- is definitely a great place to come find some beautiful flowers with vast colorful selection.

Did I mention the produce selection? They have a gorgeous produce area that is clean, well-stocked, well-priced, lots of options, organic options and always premium quality!

Have you tried their beauty aisle? Well, here’s your chance! I’d highly recommend the Hair Mask and/or Hair Serum. It has been a life saver for my curly frizzy angry locks. The serum tames those frizzy angry unruly hairs into submission! I keep at least one in my bag for emergencies. Ya’ never know!

The frozen aisle is a dream. A definite must try!

Thinking of going on a Sunday? Go early! They sell out of the popular items! And finding a good parking or just a spot could be a challenge on account of the small lot. There’s two delivery trucks! One in the morning, it delivers all the items on the perimeter of the store like the perishables and flowers. The one that comes later in the day delivers the items that are located in the center of the store, which are pantry- type items. NO, I don’t work here and never have. I just love shopping here! Did I mention the Texas reusable bags make great gifts for your out-town friends and family? Well, they do! Get a couple of these reusable Texas bags, a Texas magnet or whatever, some Rudy’s BBQ sauce and BOOM! Instant TEXAS love care package for about $20 bucks! You’re welcome! 😉

I love the frozen meals. They are tasty and so easy after coming home after a day at work and not having to cook and clean up. The only employees I come in contact with are the checkers and they have always been kind and helpful. I will continue to shop there. I got a gift card from there as one of my birthday gifts and I was so excited.

I went here briefly and honestly I’ve never been in one. I didn’t want to walk the aisles endlessly (albeit a small store) so I stopped and asked for help. An employee named Liz helped me find what I was looking for. She was so pleasant! I may come back just for how friendly and kind the staff are.

Love their veggie and fruit selections, I've tried their dairy, cheeses, frozen meals and have been delighted with everything. It's a savings without losing quality or portion sizes. For budget shippers I'd say it's a must, for the quality conscious it's a must have.

Simply the best neighborhood grocery store. Every season there’s always something new and it seems like every week there’s always something new. I love how conscious they are of ingredients and how they really take care of their employees. It is always a pleasure to shop here.

Update: supply line issues like everyone else. Bagged organic spinach not very good last week. But the organic peas and two favorite frozen pizzas are back.

There was a problem in the small parking lot. Two large trucks were in the parking lot around 10:00 AM blocking customers coming in or going out. Nobody from the store seemed to be aware of it.

Update: June 23, 2022. I upgraded my earlier 3 star review to my normal 5 star experience. Trader Joe's cashiers, who are sometimes managers as well, are the best. They often ask your opinion about their grocery products. The supply line can give this store issues like anyone else in America, but they do not give up. And behold, my favorite healthy frozen pizza and organic peas are back!

The Belgium 72% Cacao Dark Chocolate bars are back.

Still a great store! After all these years, today, I couldn't find butter. I mentioned this to the cashier, and another associate brought what I needed in less than a minute. In a large supermarket, alarm bells would have gone off!

TJ is carrying a 1.5 liter bottle of alkaline water.

Update: 9/14/23. Good selection of Almond Milk.

Update: 11/24/23. Thanksgiving rush over. No cauliflower pizza crust pizzas were available today.

Update: 2/1/24. This is the season for great blood oranges, marketed as Raspberry Oranges for sensitive consumers.

I'm 90% sure my cashier this morning was Aj (cute glasses and rainbow mask). They were so kind and patient with my chaotic toddler and I. Thank you!

Got those little tote bags in red and yellow for my sister, who texted me from the Netherlands for them. Now only need the blue and the green ones. Also got some lithops for $4.99. Great price!

Love Trader Joe's! Collected a Texas bag and grabbed some crackers and cheeses. Good variety of veggies, cheeses, meats, and snacks. Reasonably priced. Plenty of free parking. Even was entertained by a young man practicing his 80s dance moves. Cool.

Trader Joe’s is my favorite grocery store not only do they have food, wine they have a big variety of healthy plants at great prices. Thank you “Trader Joe’s you rock” big time!

This is my favorite store. It's small and quaint and reminds me of an off-road country store with pizzazz and a touch of small island feel. Lots of non-toxic varieties that make you feel safe. Checking out is quick and easy. Love this store and would recommend it.

Oh my gosh I missed Trader Joe's. Visited the one at the Quarry. I picked up a few things, and another reusable bag. They had some free bags also. I'll be back. Great staff, the girls at the checkout were very friendly.

Great Products, friendly Staff. I especially enjoy Trader Joe Products, quality and good prices. The variety of quality Nuts is a bargain!

It's always a treat to visit this store. The only suggestion I have here would be to add a plant based butter that's unsalted. It's a small thing, but people don't understand how hard it is to find it in San Antonio. Other than that, this store is amazing!

I don't post many reviews but my husband and I are just giddy over the interaction we just had checking out! We had just gotten to the check out line and one of the employees, Oscar, saw us and walked us to an empty stand to check us out without waiting. He asked if we had any fun plans tonight and we mentioned we had just moved into our house yesterday.. and then when we were about to pay, another associate came up with an bouquet of flowers and Oscar said they wanted to congratulate us on our new home!! It was so nice and made our day!

Per the Joe norm, parking can be a bit of a bear here, but it's also a standard awesome Joe shopping experience. The crew makes it rad - SO nice!👍🌺😃🌺👍

We're not wine drinkers around here, but I lurrrrve the beer selection here, especially the fact that you chose singles of *anything* (and especially with Martin House Brewing's crazy a$$ Fear Factor flavors, it's really really nice not to have to commit to a 6er 😆🍻)

Joe's doggo snacks are a must (we superappreciate that they're all made in the US!! Several thumbless paws up for that!)

Snacks (cookie butter alllll the things!!), fun cheeses (unexpected cheddar! Limincello ricotta!), frozen Indian foods and pastas, year round staples and fun seasonal stuff - SO much goodness found at the Joe's!

I love this Trader Joe's. I fell in love with TJ's as a California resident. So thrilled that they have this location in SA. I am also delighted that they now carry Opolo Zinfandel. I fell in love with this wine while in California. The savings is worth the trip for me and the uniqueness of the product assortment.
