What a hidden delight! My husband and I tried something new for lunch and we will definitely be retuning customers. The restaurant was mostly busy with to go orders than dine in when we got there. They mentioned the daily specials -which is what we decided on. #1 was 2 2-topping slices of pizza and a drink. #2 was 1 2-topping slice of pizza, a side salad and a drink.
We spent about $21 and the ingredients were all fresh and delicious! I can’t wait to try their other items.

2nd visit. As great as the first time. Medium meat lovers Pizza and an order of chicken wings and drinks- about $39 so not that cheap but was easy to share and had left overs... The pizza is very light on the sauce which I love... you have to have a good ratio of sauce to cheese and they do... and it's about that crust yum yum and wait a minute did I say yum. The chicken wings I ordered were the lemon pepper chicken wings and then had them extra crispy... they were REALLY great... that's probably one of the best lemon pepper wings I've had in town and they weren't overly salty like a lot tend to be... just perfect. And they have a Gold Peak tea machine, if you haven't had Gold Peak tea, you dont know what your missing...always a plus.... My friends ordered similar things... one friend ordered just two slices of pizza and a drink and those slices were really big. Look, I know you cant swing a red checked tablecloth without hitting a pizza joint but put this one on your list. Dont go there for the smiling customer service, they aren't rude, just not necessarily welcoming. But honestly its worth it for this pizza.

Outstanding pizza. I grew up in New England, and spent a lot of time in New Haven and NYC and have eaten a lot of pizza, including pies from a lot of restaurants that are perennially in the top 10, or top 100 in the country, Goombas is easily the best pizza place I've found in San Antonio so far

Super friendly staff! Delicious pizza! The slices are HUGE! Three of us got two slices and a drink. Total was $28.42. Not too shabby if you ask me. I tend to eat way more than any human should. I’m no completion eater but I can pack away my fair share. That being said, I was stuffed after eating two slices. I’m telling you, they are giant and as good as I’ve ever had! We will definitely be back!

I was in this area and I remember this Pizza being close to New York style thin sliced with a slight crispy undercarriage. This location added really good mixture of flavors to their pizza. A really good combination and definitely worth a shot. High on my list of a pizza close to New York.

Amazing attencion to detail. Truly felt like a home when i walked in. And can confirm this is some authentic ny pizza i myself lived there my whole life and i am willing to say that it tastes better

It's been a while since I've had a slice of pizza from Goomba's, but I'm so happy I was in the area. The pizza is as tasty as I remember it. Hot, crispy, and tasty.

A little bit pricey, but amazing pizza and pasta. Pizza was made right in front of us and had bright, beautiful veggies and fresh cheeses. I also ordered the chicken parmigiana and it was top notch. It had perfectly cooked, al dente spaghetti, and the chicken was seasoned well and had a golden crust. We are from the Boerne area and don’t go into San Antonio much, but I’m so glad we gave Goomba’s a chance while passing through. We will definitely be back! Restaurant was clean and people were nice.

This is the best pizza place in the city of San Antonio, it is always my go to and I will keep going here! 100% recommend!!

You can't beat the taste of their pizza. Flavor to the max. The stromboli delicioso. I highly recommend this place.

I absolutely love this place! It is an all time staple every time I go come to San Antonio. The carbonara is exceptionally amazing!! The pizza daily specials are great, you can’t beat that price. Two giant pizza slices and a drink for $10 is just great!!! The salads have the crispest lettuce ever the crunch cannot be beat! I highly recommend this place! Their wings are oven baked not fried, which makes all of the difference in the flavor. The flavor is insanely good!!! The quality of all of their food is exceptional! Don’t forget to try out their desserts! 100/10 for this place!

Good stuff from this little unassuming pizza place. Glad they found their way over here to I-10/Wurzbach strip center. Great service, fast & friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. Sauce was perfectly done to accompany the 2 appetizers we ordered--cheesy garlic bread & pizza rolls. Supreme 12" Pizza was goooooood. Give them a try 😉

I love there Pizzas. The pizzas are very tasty. I never had pizza dough like this at any other pizza place. My co workers and I always order pizza here for events for work and just hanging out with friends. The pizza was so good that it put one of my friends to sleep. Although, he sleeps a lot anyway. Thank you for making great pizzas.

Excellent pizza!! Love the Chicken Parmigiana!!

I really enjoyed this place. It was delicious! I tried something new while dining here tonight and was happily satisfied! We got there right maybe 30 minutes before closing and The staff were still nice and didn’t rush us off! Which is a great thing because most places would have. I would definitely come back! I’ve seen reviews about this place saying it was expensive… The cost of cheesy garlic bread and a medium specialty pizza is less than a small pizza at Pizza Classics. I suggested to others to try it out.

By far the best New York style pizza in San Antonio, I consider myself a bit of a pizza enthusiast and having pizza from all over the world, the traditional New York is my favorite. The crust is crisp and thin hand tossed the slices are big and fold-able. The sauce is tangy and full of flavor the cheese pulls and they use quality toppings. I cant say enough about this place.
