Nine Lives Books

This book store is small, but it has excellently priced used books - some for as little as one dollar. They also have tons of stickers, charms, bookmarks, cards, pins, magazines, movies, and music. It’s a tight fit between the shelves, but you might find some great hidden gems. The woman who works there is also very kind.

A great little used book store. They have books but SOOO much more. Stickers, enamel pins, magnets, collector cards, comics, movies, LPs, and lots of other trinkets. The sticker collection is truly impressive. Definitely a great find and the owner is very friendly. We'll be visiting time and time again when we're in town.

Nine Lives Books used to be located somewhere else WITH CATS living inside! Before 2010, I would visit that store and greet the cats. That time and place was one of my favorite places to visit with my mom. Me and her both love cats!!!! I thank the owner for providing happiness for the cats and customers.

I really enjoyed stepping into Nine Lives Books. There's quite a selection of books to choose from and books you'd forgotten about or always wanted to buy but you never quite got around to purchasing. Well you can solve that problem and buy them now and at a significantly lower price! They also sell more than books. You can buy classic albums and other little goodies you might buy have thought of but they are there for you to look over and buy. Take a little bit of time from your day and head over to Nine Lives Books. You'll be glad you did.

It's much smaller than the old location but there's still lots of great book options. There are comic books as well. I always like checking this place out to see what's new. This store opens at 10am now.

One of my all time favorite second hand book stores in San Antonio. Perfect book exchange and super low low prices with tons of rare and vintage finds.

Nice little establishment find many things like stickers, pins, the owner prefers the customer pay cash, sell your stuff for store credit only.

Cutest bookstore ever! So many stickers from 15 cents to 50 cents, Croc Charms, bracelet charms, cute bags and wallets, and so much more!! Visiting this place is so fun! It is also a great place to find books for school and to donate books.

You can tell that the majority of these titles have been specifically selected because they're not just "used books" but hard to find books as well as a carefully curated selection of classics and "must haves" to complete a home library or just to expand your reading list. The prices were good and the lady working there was charming and helpful. A real little gem.

Was surprised to see MTG singles! It was a good selection and very reasonably priced as well. The boxes were so neatly organized that I was able to easily find what I needed.

This place felt like home mixed with your favorite childhood library. The store has such a comfy vibe and the owner was the sweetest woman ever. She had a whole conversation with me about books and it was lovely and just want I needed that day. She knows her books and even helped me look for a book I was talking about. I ended up leaving some great books - including a signed book of one of my favorite titles - stickers, and a bookmark! Something for everyone here and I look forward to my next visit :) highly recommend!

Great used book store with a mix of other things. Games, comics, VHS, DVD, stickers and more. Friendly staff. So many treasures to look through.

Cozy second hand book shop, great selection, friendly staff, phenomenal prices. I try to make a stop in at least once every week or two to find something cool. They regularly have really cool older books on sale ranging from early print mid century classics to 150 year old school books. If you like collecting books then this is the place.

My husband and I were there last night. You know that scene from The Never Ending Story where runs into the book store and you know something magical is about to happen? That's how I felt. now I must start my very first choose your own adventure book.
