Very nice staff scheduled my dog in for surgery when other vets were 3and 4 days out and wanted less money for the surgery highly recommend

Dr Evans and Dr G. have been seeing our three dogs, two cats and numerous foster animals for over a decade. We have seen numerous vets all over SA and this is our preferred practice. They are extremely knowledgeable and always reasonably priced. Our pets have had serious surgeries to wellness checks w the docs and the staff and vets do a thorough job. It can take a few extra minutes to get in because they are busy and work with many rescues but the quality of care is worth it and if it is urgent they will get you in. I like that Dr Evans will allow us to email her with an issue and send photos and she knows our dog's issues so well.

Awesome staff. My puppy was bitten by another dog and they fixed her up. Excellent care and kind staff.

Great service and very friendly. This place does not have a VET smell either and they treated my puppy with the upmost kindness. Thanks guys! It’s also affordable care!

I was there yesterday to pick up my dogs flea medication 03/21/2023 at the new place I would say it is a very nice building and as always. Everybody is always very nice and pleasant. I like it.

Staff is 10/10 helpful with anything and treat you like a friend from check in to exam to check out. Dr Guevara was kind and knowledgeable and accommodating. I switched here based on recommendations from a San Antonio Dog Moms group because my other vet was overcharging us at every turn and not being honest when asking for estimates before scheduling. I felt taken advantage of and frustrated with the other vet. Much more positive open communication about cost at CRAH and I should have switched over to CRAH sooner!

Dr. Evans was an angel and the whole staff is some of the most empathetic people you'll be blessed to meet. Our Daisy is feeling better and the whole family thanks y'all!

Very kind staff, our Charlie is a grumpy old dog and they were incredibly patient with him. He needed surgery and had several meds to take after the fact and the lovely woman who discharged us went through what was needed for aftercare thoroughly and answered all of our questions.

I was referred here by a Facebook group. Prices are reasonable. The front staff were very friendly. I really liked Dr. Evans. She explained everything very well. Thanks!

Did a walk in not knowing walk ins were only in the morning but was still seen thankfully my Chiquita is doing better now thank you for everything yall did too make her feel better

We have been really happy with Dr. Guevara, Dr. Evans and all of their supporting staff for the last 4 years. I found Dr. G when looking for a vet that would make ranch calls for both, large and small animals. Since then, he has taken care of all of our basic needs, emergencies, surgeries, prescriptions, and euthanasias for our horses, cats and dogs. We have gone to their clinic for a few dog-related appointments and surgeries and have always been happy with their staff and other veterinarians on duty. Dr. G is always spot on with diagnosis, laid back and friendly, and his rates are very reasonable. We have not had any bad experiences with any of the veterinarians or staff. I can be very picky when it comes to what vet/supporting staff we use, so that says a lot. They just opened a new facility that I'm sure is amazing as well.

Excellent 👍. Highly recommend. First time there. Took my foster dog for surgery. Several people ahead of me,still seen in timely manner. Same next day when I picked her up. But of a trip from my house. Was SAPA assigned vet facility. Might make trip for my dog there in future

I have only two experiences here but both were excellent. Friendly, welcoming, efficient, informative staff. I went twice to get shots and medical records for our new adopted rescue puppy. I didn’t;t choose Callaghan but am very pleased with them. Recommend.

All the staff and Doctors really care about your pets. I would definitely recommend Callahan Road Animal Hospital to everyone I know. They genuinely care for your pet. It makes a real difference when you can see how much they care. I wouldn't go anywhere else with my dog Kandor!!

I have been using this clinic a little over 2 years. This is the vet that my rescue partners use, I have not once had a bad experience here. I've had to bring in aggressive dogs and an aggressive cat , the staff was very professional and knew what they were doing. I've also taken my personal pets and have received the same amazing service.
