Orabis Mediterranean- Greek Restaurant

We got the gyro plate, beef skewers platter, hummus, and pita. They don’t do dine in due to lack of workers so all orders are take out. The meat quality is pretty good. The rice is slightly bland but provide a good balance to the rest of the entree and the vegetables are REALLY good. The hummus, you can tell is made fresh. Our entire entree tasted fresh. Honestly, the quality and taste is up there but prices are elevated and portion sizes are smaller than other places I’ve had. If you’re looking strictly at taste and quality, this place is amazing.

Wow, such amazing food! This was my first time here, and it was a great experience. Senna was so lovely and kind and greeted my boyfriend and I as we came in. She said she would be right with us, and made us feel very welcomed. I had the Samosas and garlic bread which were fantastic! My boyfriend had the lamb chops, grilled veggies and rice. It was all so tasty! We will definitely be back to try more things! Thanks(Take out only here)

This local restaurant gem always wins with its fresh and authentic dishes! The portions are perfectly sized and always leave me feeling satisfied but also eager to come back for more!

First, I apologize for not taking photos of the food, but I will next time. I am impressed. The food quality, service, and the restaurant are top-notch.

They do not have dine-in, which is a shame the decor takes you on a journey to the Mediterranean. The food; I had the gyro wrap and hummus and the chicken kabob for my girlfriend. 1st thing you'll notice is the gyro wrap was the entire pita with about a pound of lamb. The lamb was so flavourful and tender. Don't miss this experience. The hummus was creamy and well balanced; I prefer mine on the garlicky side, but this didn't disappoint. The chicken kabob and the rice I sampled and were equally impressive.
10/10 I will return for more fare.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I’ve never given anything a solid 10/10 but it feels disrespectful to date this anything lower. The quality of every appetizer, entree and side. Nothing was subpar. Thank you. Our hostess was the most hospitable, down to earth soul as well. She was so kind and accommodating. I will definitely come back. I’m a new regular.

My first time and I am trying everything. This is the diet I think my doctor would approve! Chicken kabobs with a Greek Salad. Chicken was so juicy and tender, to cut it use the side of your fork! Rice cooked to perfection and the salad with made from scratch dressing. Everything was so good, I am back for second time. You gotta try it. Wake up Cedar Hill, I just put you on!!!!

The food here is amazing and customer service even better! Since I’ve found this spot, I’ve been multiple times and I have yet to be disappointed.

The gyro plate is a must try! The meat is tender, rice cooked perfectly, and veggies fresh. I also added a side salad to be able to make my own gyro. The portion size is plentiful and you’ll definitely have enough for leftovers. I will come back here time and time again for amazing food!

This was my first visit. I was greeted by one of the most lovely people I've ever met, Senna. She was warm and patient and asked what I like to help me select a dish. She took pride in letting me know that she would be preparing my food and made sure I was comfortable while I waited.

The falafel platter was so very delicious! The salad was fresh and everything else was seasoned just right. It came with the best tzatziki sauce I've ever had. I'm sorry that I didn't think to take a pic before it was too late.

The atmosphere was calm, down to the music and lighting, and the restaurant was very clean. I plan to return later this week!

Great place to get fresh, delish food with great portion size. The Owner was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. I would highly recommend Orabis, and look forward to ordering again.

Some reviewers mention that this place is a buffet. It is not. All dishes are individually prepared and served hot, fresh and delicious. We have never had a bad experience. Today, for a quiet Sunday lunch, the fried calamari, gyro platter and stuffed eggplant were just amazing.

Firstly, this review is waaaayyy overdue and sadly I have no pictures of any of my meals to display. However, I will share the details of Orabis Mediterranean restaurant and start by stating, this entire establishment from the Welcoming Beautiful & Elegant Ownership to her FRESH, Outstanding, Delicious, Savory and Exquisite menu deserves the 5 stars 🌟. We have been coming here for years and have NEVER been disappointed. Before 2020, being able to dine in and enjoy the well presented and prepared meal was the "icing on the cake" but unfortunately COVID changed the atmosphere for everyone and everything but it DID NOT CHANGE THE EXCELLENT DISHES 😋. We visit often because we live in Cedar Hill but even if you don't, it will be worth your while to make an adventure/trip to experience such a flavorful, pristine, extraordinary, memorable, unforgettable and satisfactory Menu. In our families opinion, you will not be disappointed💯

Great place with AMAZING food. I highly recommend the Lamb chops. We also had the beef kabobs and the kofta. All were great. And the service and hospitality are even better.
The interior design is modern and unique as well.
Very pleasant experience all in all.

Bruce is a hoot. Food. Delicious and always fresh. The cooks are very and generous with portions. I went once and now go at least twice a month if not more. LoL.

If you are having a hard time figuring out what to eat, then try this place. We were just searching locally for some good Gyros and this popped up. We tried the Gryo platter and it was spectacular. The portion size will leave you with leftovers, which I didn't mind at all. The owners are the nicest people around. They aren't open for dining right now, only takeout. Next time we will be trying something else off the menu to explore what they have. Definitely recommend it!

The service and staff are super nice and really good!
We got the calimari plate which was delicious! A little smaller than other places for the same price, but I feel it was worth it.
Gyro Lamb wrap is a bit pricey compared to other local restaurants, or at least that is what I thought until it came out and was HUGE. They do a dressing on the vegetables inside the gyro wrap that I haven't seen anywhere else in the area and made it super good! Also tsaziki sauce was perfect, and offered on the side which I appreciated! Though I didn't know it didn't come with fries, that's probably on me though. Would be nice for the price though l.
The rest of my party ordered the Lamb chop and the kibbie, across the board rave reviews.
It was rather empty in there customer wise which was surprising since the food is so good and one of the only Mediterranean restaurants in the area.
Whole location was clean and well decorated. Overall I'd recommend to go if in the area!

This is some of the finest food I have experienced. They cook it fresh while you wait, which is ideal for a fresh quality meal. The taste is perfectly curated for an outstanding meal.

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I’m glad I did. I called in my order, which was pretty big, but the person taking the order was very patient. I got to the restaurant and while waiting on my food I was talking to the owner and had a pleasant conversation. He told me everything was being made fresh and he definitely was telling the truth. When I got my food everything was hot and fresh. I was a little weary about the prices, but after tasting everything it was MORE than worth it. Will definitely be going again!!

This is some of the best salmon Ive ever had. Been hearing nothing but good things about this place and decided to try ot for ourselves. Pure awesomeness!!! Everything on this plate has an amazing taste. Cant wait to try other things on their menu!

Had a awesome experience today trying Mediterranean food with Orabis in Cedar Hill...the Chicken Kabobs dinner was plate was so delicious...the aroma was just awesome cooked fresh to perfection...I will definitely go again and try the Lamb Kabobs, and Gilled Salmon...I can't wait...Thank you, Ms Sana....
