Martinsburg Family Diner

This place was like walking into the past because it had all of life's good qualities going on.
Conrad greeted us at the door and at first appeared disinterested. After a brief conversation pried out of him it was revealed they were very short-handed because someone died in the family of an employee who called out so they were short-handed.
We came to this restaurant because I did not believe a person could buy an entire meal for $9.99. Being a visitor to the state I was stunned to eat this cheeseburger, fries, coleslaw, and a Pepsi for $9.99. My next thought was it would be tiny portions and icky food.
This place was quite the contrary to my expectations. The service (Conrad) was perfect. My food was delicious and hot and freshly brought to my table by the cook, I think.
The size of the beef patty was significantly larger than a McDonald's cheeseburger 🍔. It was excellent actually.
The restrooms were clean and well-maintained.
Overall we plan on returning very soon as the menu is quite large.

Went here to kill some time and decided to get breakfast. Inside is clean and spacious, and Tara waited on me, she was amazing. I had French toast with the works, with a side of home fries and herbal tea. It really hit the spot! If I'm in town again I'm definitely coming back.

This is my second time at the diner. The first time I had a steak , fries and salad and it was delicious. This time I had the chicken and shrimp stir fry and all I can say is WOW!!! Delicious!!! I can’t wait to try more items on the menu.

Servers are always very polite. Breakfast food is good. Cakes always look very good, but I have not gotten a chance to try them yet. (My own fault)

Large parking lot and seating area. Service is quick.

I had their Chef’s special and it was terrific and the two people I was with really enjoyed their entrées as well. We topped it off some wonderful ice cream sundaes! Great value!

Went there with my dad for easter dinner. Both at the primary with sweet potato and salad.
Prime rib was cooked just the way we liked it. Service was great.
And good prices.
Will definitely return.

As a housing case manager at Telamon, it is part of my my job to secure meals for all of my clients for the holidays. I decided to reach out to the manager, Dan, this time prior to Easter and am so gladI did. Dan was wonderful and worked with me to explain what they could do and everything that was included, he provided a discount on each meal for our clients, and was very helpful and nice. When my co-workers and I picked up the meals we were greatly impressed with everything. The meals were all rwady and bagged up, the mac and cheese was in seperate containers, and each roll was individually wrapped, plus they provided plenty of utensils and butter. The manager and another employee also helped us carry everything out and put it in the vehicle for us. Not only was everyone friendly and professional, the restraunt was clean and looked great, and the food smelled and looked great. After we delivered the meals, I recieved calls/texts from several of the clients saying that the food tasted great as well. I highly recommend Martinsburg Family diner because their food is great, the service is wonderful, and they truly care about the community. Thank you all so much for your help. We will definitely be back!!

Ordered the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. Husband ordered the Monte Cristo and homefries with chipped beef gravy. Everything was delicious! Follow me on TT@Heyitstaralol

Service was super fast and friendly. Food was delicious!! We had open face hot roast beef and gravy with mashed potatoes and a Gyro with fries. We took desserts to go. Restaurant was clean and modern.

Every single time I go here, which has been often, the food has been fantastic and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend their pancakes. Truly THE best pancakes I've ever had. Even better than that popular pancake place. Their desserts, especially the cheesecakes are amazing.

Stopped in for breakfast and was warmly greeted by Mikey. Khadijah was my server and did an excellent job providing professional service and attention to detail.
The food was absolutely delicious, the vibe was good and the prices are very reasonable.

We were passing through the area looking for a place to eat breakfast and happened upon the diner. After a wonderful experience, this will be one of our regular stops.

I had the house special with eggs, potatoes, french toast, and sausage. Everything tasted great. The staff was wonderful and friendly. The facility was clean, welcoming, and a great place to visit.

A definite reccomend for classic American food

Ate late lunch there today in the midafternoon. Few customers, as would be expected, but the food and the service were much better than expected in a slow hour. We’ll stop there again if the timing works. Easy on/easy off of I81.

The food was Soo good here that I came twice in one week. Soo delicious! Both times I ate there great food. Friendly staff, warm food, clean tables etc.

I visit Martinsburg several times throughout the year and always see this place has lots of business. Stopped on a Sunday morning and I had the Breakfast Special # 6 Two Eggs and Scrapple. Eggs cooked to order with a side of Scrapple, Home Fries (homestyle hash browns) and choice of buttered Toast. The Pennsylvania Dutch style Scrapple was a bit under spiced/flavored for me but still good. I also had a side of grits. Now know why this place is a locals favorite. Good food, good servings, good service & good prices. Definitely be returning.

My accountant and I ordered Tuna sandwich and rib tips on noodles. SO DELICIOUS. BREAD WAS TOASTED TOO! LOVE IT. The fries that came with the sandwich were so crisp. The staff are all amazing and the desserts selections drive me crazy. This is my second visit. I will definitely have lunch here again.

1st time dining here and we were all pleasantly surprised. Excellent food, super clean restaurant, and prompt service.

We will be back soon! It was impressive to see the owner going around refilling coffee for people. 👍🏼

It's in West Virginia but reminded me of the diner's in NJ. Great place to eat big menu
