Ive been very ill for over 14 months and have been to 7 ER visits for odd neurolovical issues. Every ER doctor was baffled. THANK YOU NEUROAUSTIN FOR DIAGNOSING ME. Its been very difficult to have serious health issues and be swept under the rug by ER's and various doctors. Your staff is courteous, and gave me ample time ro speak with me. Your thoroughness and attention to detail has made a huge difference in my life. AND you guys just didnt diagnose me, your attention to followup and after care with home health team is unexplainable...in a great way! My only regret is that I didnt come to you sooner. I wasted over 14 months of agony before I was referred to you. THANK YOU FOR CARING!!! If I could give you 10 stars, I would!!!

I usually do not leave negative reviews, but this irked me. I never even got to make an appointment here. I spent almost 5 weeks trying, calling them once or twice weekly, but they kept telling me they were not getting my doctor's referrals. I was referred by a specialist, but also got my PC involved because I was so desperate to see a neurologist for the symptoms I was having.

After weeks of calling, leaving messages when I had to, getting both my doctors to re-send the referrals multiple times each, etc finally someone from this office told me their referral system, something called Leadingreach, had not been working.

So....I spent weeks calling and having my doctors send additional referrals to this office that couldn't even get them because the system was down and they only told me after weeks of trying. Once I was told their system was down I even had my docs try faxing them, but even that didn't work.

I finally convinced my doctors to refer me to a new neurologist, but I had already waited weeks and had to wait an additional month for an appointment. What a nightmare-- If you are having similar issues getting scheduled here I suggest you ask your doctor to pick another neurologist ASAP.

They turned me away for being 28 minutes early to an appointment with my paperwork ready. (They said I need to be 30 minutes early to fill out the paperwork, which I arrived with). I'd waited over two months for the appointment, and nearly a month for the rescheduled one.

They do not do telemedicine. I drove two hours for what ended up being a five minute test results reading with a PA that could have easily been a phone call.

They do not return voicemails, emails, scheduling is a nightmare. AVOID

If I could give zero stars that would be appropriate. This place has no intention of helping its patients. They never return phone calls, not even the office manager. In almost 3 months we have left the staff, including office manager, 10 message and NOT 1 person has called us back. Another facility called them on our behalf multiple times and they never returned their calls either. Receptionist is the only person we could actually get ahold of, she was friendly and helpful but can only do so much. They were short staffed but not returning ANY phone calls is unacceptable and unprofessional. Avoid this place if you are actually looking for answers and care!

Horrible!!! I absolutely agree 100% with everyone about the rude staff. But they also reflect the doctors personality, rude, uncompassionate and uncaring for patients. The staff and the doctor do not care about the patients. During my visit the doctor had the nerve to say that other doctors just like passing on cases because my general doctor sent me to a neurologist. RUDE!!! That comment was not needed. What else was my general doctor supposed to do? Treat anxiety herself, that's not her specialty. She has no idea what my general doctor did before her and the long hours she worked with me to help me out. On the other hand when I asked for an anxiety treatment, the website states that anxiety is treated by this doctor, the response I got was she only treats mild anxiety. Of course she did what she judges other doctors of doing, she passed my case on to another specialist because my anxiety is at a level "so high" she does not have the ability to treat it. The only treatment she knows for anxiety is one type of med and that wont work for me. That's just the beginning. After my first appointment things kept getting worse, communication is 1 way. Only they can communicate with you. If as a patient you have an emergency and need the doctor good luck. She does not care and will not call, text or email. Stay away from this place if you really need medical help.

Dr. Raymond was nice enough but I felt super rushed at our appointment . The staff was rude and unhelpful - I thought maybe it was just a bad day, but it happened on multiple occasions. I had trouble with my insurance for the appointments and they refused to help me figure anything out with the billing. I also had to ask/call 3 times to get a copy of my receipt. It was a stressful time with lots of doctor appointments and they were very unsympathetic and outright rude several times (and not just to me - I noticed it in the office as well towards an elderly patient). I rarely write reviews but it was ridiculous how much trouble I had with this place!

I saw Dr. Raymond one time, then saw Annette the rest. Annette was great, but apparently has since left the practice. The front desk staff has always been rude. I recently noticed I was out of refills on my migraine med and when I called the office to make an appt they were booked weeks out. I was going to run out of my RX before they could get me in. They refused to give me a partial refill to get me through. It's a migraine preventative, not an abusable medication. The medical assistant I spoke with was extremely rude and insensitive. She told me I should find a new doctor or go to the ER every time I get a migraine. I asked her if the doctor knows how she talks to patients and she claimed Dr. Raymond was standing right there. When I asked to speak to the doctor she told me no, that she was on her way out. I took her advice and found a new doctor. I have never been treated so poorly by a doctor's office in my life. I would not recommend this place to anyone after that experience. I wish I knew which practice Annette went to because I would definitely follow her.

Do Not use this company! The staff is terrible. In an attempt to schedule an appointment for reasons listed on their website ( pain, brain & spinal cord injuries, restless leg syndrome ), and was told the dr. would not see me, based on the secretaries' "pre-screening" questions. This is ridiculous that I was treated rudely and dismissed before the dr. had a chance to look over medical records and evaluate me.

I saw Dr. Raymond and Annette Wilson during my brief care at NeuroAustin. I dealt mostly with Annette, who is not a doctor, and only saw Dr. Raymond once. Both Dr. Raymond and Annette were insentive to my case and have accusatory personalities. I went to this practice as a referral because I have issues with headaches and memory. They have completely disregarded my headaches, told me the cyst they found on my brain had no impact on my symptoms, and made snide remarks about my memory. When I forgot to get a prescription filled and had asked for a paper prescription to help me remember, Annette told me that I needed to take responsibility and remember to get them filled. When I was given a list of doctors for a referral to have testing done, Annette mockingly told me that the names are easy to remember. When I told Annette Wilson that the medication wasn't working her response was to double the prescription, when I told the neurosurgeon it wasn't working they told me to stop taking it. When I told Annette Wilson that I stopped taking the medication because the neurosurgeon said to, she said she needed to actually talk to the neurosurgeon because "like you said, you have bad memory." When I filed for FMLA they neglected to fill out the paperwork in time even after I paid the $50 to have them do it. Then they forced me to come into the office for an appointment to discuss FMLA even though I had already done it over the phone and through email with Annette and they already turned in the paperwork and my case had already been approved. I had to pay another copay for something that is already done. During this "appointment" with Dr. Raymond, she pretty much accused me of lying and told me that she was refusing to treat me. She then gave me a letter saying that it was necessary to conclude the relationship because of our failure to achieve an effective patient-physician relationship. She then had a man come into the room to see me out. I have never been treated this way by a doctor. I feel at a loss. I'm due to have brain surgery in July and I feel totally neglected, insulted, and let down. If you want adequate treatment for your illness, or even just adequate treatment on a personal level, I would recommend searching for a neurologist outside of NeuroAustin.

Reception and nursing staff are horrible. I have called 3 times and yet to get a call back regarding an appointment they scheduled wrong. Office walls are completely blank, depressing environment...
