Dr. Todd A. Canon, MD

Great office. Dr Canon was very patient and spent quality time with me. It was not rushed and he explained everything for my medical needs. Also my results came back from the lab very timely and Dr Canon wrote a very good explanation of the results. Office staff is incredible too!!! Very patient with office admin stuff. Nurses are friendly and great.

I've had good experience with this doctor for the last several years. He's taken the time to examine me carefully and make sure he doesn't miss anything. He is the type to press you on healthy lifestyle points like proper diet and weight loss. In my case that is a good thing. I don't think he's been slow to refer me to specialists - he's referred me to a urologist, a thyroid surgeon, and a gastroenterologist over the last few years, and in fact has pressed me to go a couple of times when I was slow to make appointments. The specialists he's referred me to seem to be very good.

I like that fact that this clinic has evening and weekend hours. I've taken advantage of that a number of times.

The people in the office seem to be pretty busy and can be a little slow sometimes, but I haven't had any significant problem with them.

I don't understand a couple of the negative reviews that refer to Dr. Canon as "she". Dr. Canon is a "he."

I've been coming to Dr Canon for years. The bad Review here are for a 'her/she' (a female doctor) NOT Dr Canon. He's fantastic. Staff is great. No complaints, and I'm pretty particular about my doctors...

Dr. Canon has been my pcp for several years. He is thoughtful, thorough, knowledgeable, and highly professional. He is patient and most importantly he listens.

Doctor Canon was my primary care provider from the time I moved into Austin to the day I moved away years and years later. He is, easily, the best doctor I have ever had and I will be forever grateful. The doctors here in Milwaukee have some big shoes to try and fill.

Dr.Cannon was really chill and goofy and nice and kind! Thank you. For helping me! Dr.Cannon is nice and understanding my mom and grandma also have seen him. 10/10

Dr. Canon is great, he takes his time with you and is a great listener. He never seems to be in a rush when with you 👍🏼

I would recommend Dr. Canon. He is professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and reliable. Everything you would expect from a great doctor.

Good choice for trans community

Dr. Canon wa my family's GP for three years. He's great. He takes his time and really listens. The only problem is when I needed labs (routine for thyroid) he insisted I make and pay for an office visit and wouldn't just let me get my labs drawn. Oftentimes it was hard to get an appointment and office staff usually seems harried.

Doctors aren't terrible, but the front desk employees and nurses I've dealt with are rude and seem very unhappy

Dr. Cannon has treated my dad SO POORLY. Dr. Cannon does not have respect for the older patient. Dr. Cannon should not use a tone with a patient that when leaving, the patient is upset. My dad went to Dr. Cannon as most of us do, to seek medical professional assistance. Dr. Cannon's bedside manner is horrible. Does not call in medicine that is needed, or respond to the pharmacy when trying to pick up said medicine. Dr. Cannon has been one of the WORST Doctors/Person to treat "older" patients. NEVER again will he have the ability to treat this patient in the manner he did. NOT PROFESSIONAL, CONDESCENDING, RUDE, DOES NOT READ CHART OF PATIENT, GASCONADING. Only reason I gave 1 star, is it will not allow you to post otherwise. 0 STARS

Semi transgender friendly. She believes that it's okay for his staff to misgender people. I'm a fairly passable transgender woman rarely ever get misgendered. However I got Misgendered when Todd cannons assistant asked me just come in for a injection I was told I did not need an appointment. I show up in the front. The front desk staff who is always rude, they told me I need to make an appointment I told them the conversation I had on the phone with Todd Cannon's assistant. I asked them if they could just ask her they told me they didn't need to ask her, I said please I don't want to come back and his appointments are booking 2 weeks out. Get this injection before this time for my health purpose's. She loudly says "sir you will need to book an appointmentI". I go back in Todd Cannon agrees with the front desk staff. He says well it was an accident. Trust me he was not there, it was not an accident. I have experienced transphobia before but I would never expect to hear this from a provider who is LGBT and claims to be very transgender friendly however he is not. he should have taken my side and understood the repercussion how insulting it is to be Miss gendered in a public space and how aggressive it was that I was misgendered.

Staff is incompetent. Schedule an appointment 2 weeks in advance, took off work specifically for that day. Was told when I got there that they schedule it for the next Friday. And that they could not see me even tho thid is an error on thier part. They were unwilling to work with me.

Incredibly condescending, does not listen to the patient at all. Useless.
