Daniel Rasor, MD

I seems that folks here are getting the practice confused with the practitioner. I know how irritating it is to have to wait, but that happens when a doctor gives every patient all the time they need without rushing things. I can attest that you too will get his full attention as soon as the person in front of you has asked all their questions. For my part I have followed Dr Rasor through his work at a few different practices because there is no one I trust more. I have been seeing him for nearly 20 years and I have always found him very competent and compassionate.
He is a GENERAL FAMILY PRACTITIONER, and a great one at that. He does not specialize in any specific medical condition, but instead has referred me to specialists when he hits the limit of his medical expertise. As for those of you who did not get the medication you were looking for, I’m sorry. He has always prescribed what he thought was appropriate for the condition, and is more then willing to reevaluate things if I’m not improving.
Dr. Rasor and his staff are amazing. I’m sure there are other great doctors out there, but if you need a good review to help you decide I am more then happy to oblige.

Dr. Rasor has been my Doctor for close to 20 years. His knowledge, demeanor and communication skills are all top-tier. I've never felt like I was a number he had to slog through to get to the next patient and he takes care to fully discuss whatever the situation is until sure I have a good understanding of it. Highly recommended.

Dr. Rasor has treated me since about 1998 or 1999. He is fast and efficient but never seems rushed when dealing with your problem that day. He makes you part of the treatment. You will be completely and well informed. He lets you know everything he is thinking and how he wants to treat you. I followed him to his current location. He reminds me of the family doctor I had growing up. This is what a family practice is supposed to be like but often (too often) isn't.

Was unsure of see Dr.Daniel Rasor, MD after some of the reviews I read, but my visit with him was went smooth and I felt like he treated me with respect and listen to me. Will f/ u with him in 2024.

Dr. Rasor is a wonderful physician and provided an excellent healthcare experience. Many primary care providers are content to treat surface level symptoms, but Dr. Rasor shows clear dedication to your holistic health. This practice offers a full range of care options so you won’t need to be referred out for basic tests, etc. I am excited to have found such a wonderful primary care physician. Thank you, Dr. Rasor.

I have seen Dr Rasor for at least 10 years. He’s very detail oriented & that’s important when seeing a Dr. He always spends quite some time with you & you never feel rushed. Also very important!

This doctor has recently rejoined Marchand and Associates family medicine. He is a long time doctor in the Austin area.

The worst! Lat Friday, I sprained my wrist, which I had broken over 5 years ago, and had surgery to put in a metal plate. My husband took me to this office even though his Dr. is not Dr. Raser. Dr. Raser has no bedside manner, in fact I can't recall if he even looked at me the entire time! He referred me a place to get an x-ray done. I have a 3 year old, and took my pain medication that the Dr. prescribed and it really helped! Come Monday, I only have a few pills left. And having returned to work . by 9am my wrist was is so much pain. I called the Dr. and he refused to give me another script. In fact Lisa the office manage wanted to know EXACTLY when I had taken the pills over the weekend. She made me feel like an addict! She also said I needed to come back to Dr. Raser's office for a check up and pay another co pay (of course). THEN she said, that I needed to see a hand specialist! These Dr's are all in bed together! NEVER GOING BACK DO NOT TRUST THIS DR!!!!! I'm sorry I did!!!

If you have the opportunity to choose another provider, STAY AWAY from Dr. Rasor. Had abrasive interactions with his staff and him. I am an injured Veteran and he has his own opinions about the military, which are not worth repeating. He is a disgrace and I'm so glad I didn't have multiple visits in that horrible place
