RBFCU - MoPac

The customer service at this branch (and all other RBFCU branches, in fact) has always been exceptional. I've been a member for a number of years and use their services frequently. Never once have I been disappointed. This is certainly more than can be said of some of the larger banks. Good job guys!

Every time I come in, the employees are always friendly and the service is handled quickly. I just wish I had a location closer to home!

I have seen the future of banking and I am impressed. I came to RBFCU as I needed a car loan (a teeny loan) that most banks don't provide. I completed the application online, got the approval and a quick and friendly phone call from one of the folks at head office. Stopped in to a branch for the final tranche of the application process and this is where the magic happened:

Since RBFCU is a relatively small bank they dont employ loan officers on-site, their folks work out of head office and TELE-CONFERENCE WITH YOU!!!

This was super cool, I use video-conferencing at work all the time but this is one of the first places i've ever seen the technology used in such a unique fashion. You sit down and start having a conversation with a bank person 1000 miles away, in crisp HD.

Paperwork gets executed on the spot, you sign the agreement and pop it in the scanner which is then auto-scanned and received on the other end in seconds. This was all very cool.

SO in summation, good little bank, did what JPMO wouldn't and I'm happy they have my business!

The people at this location are super friendly and willing to help.

There was a time long ago when this credit union was good, as a vet I have been with since the beginning and was always treated with respect. In the last few years the good customer service is gone for good. They cancelled the low APR rates on grandfathered credit cards and transferred to higher rates, fortunately there are other credit unions with better rates so I transferred to them UFCU and PECU (far superior service and rates at these unions FYI) So long RBFCU...and thank you for your lack of service!!

Nice people working at branch but trash bank. Got hacked twice. Got a bunch of fees and bank did nothing to reverse them. Closed account. I rather stay with Wells Fargo, Chase.

They also charged a cash advance to my credit card without making it known they'd be doing that. Stay away!

Not impressed! Spent a LONG time in this branch today setting up accounts after we asked VERY specific questions about online features that we required . We were told that they DID offer these features (online funds transfers from other banks) turns out they DONT offer that feature. Would have been nice to know BEFORE we wasted our time and let them run both our credit! If MODERN online features are important to you GO ELSEWHERE! We are closing our 5 hour old accounts ASAP and contesting our credit check!

Mayra was very rude to me when I came in explaining my wallet was lost and I kindly/simply needed my routing number and account numbers. She didn't even end our interaction with a "have a nice day" or anything of the sort. She didn't know how to find my account number and had zero empathy towards me.

I don’t recommend this credit union to anyone.

Horrible bank. Looking to purchase a vehicle and they make a check take 7 business days to clear. Avoid this bank at all costs and do not do business with them if you value your time and if I lose out on this car purchase I will be filing legal suit.
