Seriously guys they have something for everyone to enjoy and the prices are insane like affordable that is! Always have great deals and gotta say every piece is unique and different! My new stop when clearing my closet! Super friendly service. Well organized with tons to choose from. Reasonable prices I love the shoe/purse quantity. Noticed they carry sizes for everyone. The men's section was stocked with tons of choices!

There is a reason this place has won awards for ‘Best Resale Shop In Austin’ consistently. The staff is experienced - the online check-in system is easy, and the employees are knowledgeable about the resale business. An added bonus is that they are kind to everyone who buys or sells. I highly recommend this place.

i’ve sold here twice now and had a pleasant experience each time. their buyer is nice and prompt and they tend to accept new/like new items. they offer a little bit more if you accept the store credit option but the cash offer isnt too bad like other second-hand shops can be.

Highly recommend Uptown Cheapskate!! The prices are great, the selection is great, store is clean and employee’s are very friendly! I found a beautiful dress for Valentine’s Day and the original tags were still on it and the price was super good! This is the best thrift store I’ve been to & I’ll definitely keep going back!!

What a cute and clean thrift store. Probably the best store I've been to in Austin, not just because it's clean, but great finds and the employees were super nice and constantly working to make everything look great. We were there late, close to closing time and they were actually spacing the hangers - I hadn't seen that done at a thrift store before. Employees really take pride in the store and this will be a place we visit again.

I've dropped off several closet clean outs here. They do a great job with the volume of clothing they handle and offer you the option to donate afterwards. I like that they choose specific charities with nice missions instead of it just disappearing into the void. I haven't made a ton of money selling to them but I understand they have to be choosy with what they take. I could probably make more on Poshmark but usually would rather not deal with all that. When I've shopped there I've made some great finds at very reasonable prices! The employees are always very friendly and helpful.

I don’t know why I go to that other place for vintage (the employees are rude, probably because they don’t get paid) but I always come to Uptown afterwards and everyone is friendly and maybe there isn’t as much vintage as that other place but the quality is much higher! Thank you for always making my vintage finds, high quality at a great price with friendly and courteous, customer service!

Haven’t been to this uptown cheapskate location in a while and they had so much cloths layout the store for sale. Sold some cloths here and was able to make a nice purchase here as well. Will definitely come back soon when I get the chance too. Lastly, great service when selling cloths and checking out👍🏻.

Uptown Cheapskate is a fantastic clothing store! Their selection of gently used clothing is both trendy and affordable. The store's layout and organization make it easy to find what you're looking for, and the staff is typically helpful and friendly. Overall, it's a great place to shop for stylish second-hand fashion.

Always friendly folks working (I sell or shop here monthly or so) and this time the person helping me gather items for the fitting rooms continued to check back with me and remembered my name. Nice personal touch! I found a Christmas gift and shoes for me!

I love this place. I always find great gems but also, they’re probably the best about offering reasonable value for your clothing. I always do in-store credit that way if I have that random urge to shop, it feels like free money at some point lol it stays clean and organized and they are discerning about the stock they bring in.

Shopped on a quiet Monday afternoon with my sister. Lots a great styles from our favorite brands. The staff in the dressing room and at the register were very sweet and helpful. It was my sister’s birthday so we were offered 20% off for the month of her birthday. The buy line looked full but less chaotic than a weekend. Highly recommend selling on a weekend vs a weekday to avoid a long wait.

Love visiting UC in Austin. The store is very clean and the staff is friendly. I have always had success selling and buying with them. I will definitely be back!

Truly one of the only places I shop! Knowing that shopping here is lowering my “fast fashion” footprint is a huge part of why I love Uptown Cheapskate. Having a central, stylish place to swap clothes that no longer fit your style for something new (to you!) is so great. Also, who doesn’t love a deal? Couldn’t recommend it more.
