Gold's Gym Pflugerville

My family and I have been members here for the last several years, 24hr fitness and lifetime before that. Overall, this gym provides a positive experience mainly around gym equipment options (modern, variation and maintained when broke), cleanliness, size of gym, and customer service from the GM team is good - Genuine people who take feedback and want to help. The main negative is overcrowding at peak hours which is expected at the price point.

Spacious and lots of good, new equipment. Could use more benches in the free weights section and an assisted pull-up machine and a second leg extension machine but those are very minor gripes considering the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the uncrowded (by people or equipment) floor.

Changed my previous review as it was unfair. This gym is just fine and the staff and managers really care and do their best.

Went for a demo visit and signed up on the spot. Didn't seem like a lot of meat head gym culture, everyone just getting a great workout in and enjoying themselves earning some sweet sweat equity.

One bummer was the pool being drained, but that's okay for me as swimming sucks anyways. :)

UPDATE: Been attending about 2x per week since my initial review and still love it. I've done everyday of the week and never had to wait on equipment. Everyone seems really focused on getting in, working hard, and getting on with it.

Update 2: I've started coming in the mornings to make sure that the time is there to workout. The gym is great in the mornings! Everything is well placed and tidy (as you'd expect)

Update 3: Google keeps wanting updates, you'd think I worked for them. Anywho. Staff has continued to be amazing. I've had issues upgrading my membership and they've been nothing but accommodating.

Surprisingly happy with this gym membership. I joined at my teen’s urging, mostly because it offered an opportunity to spend more time with him and it’s very close to home. The membership is so affordable compared to any other gym option (and I’ve probably had them all), sign up was a breeze, I found some group classes to enjoy and we also signed up my dude for personal training. Every time I ask him about his session with Mike, he says: it was GREAT! Mike has been so kind and really lays out the progress while working towards the goal. The space is clean and both me and the boy have felt comfortable. Shawna’s spin class is fantastic. Glad we’ve found this place.

I go to Pf Golds gym three times a week. Place is always clean and machines are well maintained. Everyone is spraying and wiping down equipment after use. Nice! Used Personal Trainer Mike to develop workout routine and learn equipment. He's a pro. Front desk always friendly, asking me what I'm working on today. Love this place

Ellen is the best! I needed some assistance with my account and approached the front desk, where Ellen had JUST arrived to start her shift... she hadn't even put her purse down yet and was eager to help me out. My request was resolved with 2 minutes, and my engagement with Ellen was superb the entire time.

Gym was clean and all equipment was in good shape!

I'll be visiting again soon.

One of the best gyms I have been to. The staff is top notch and knows what they are doing. The personal training staff is always on point and takes into consideration all the individual needs of their clients. The equipment availability is very well rounded for all types of training. I would recommend this gym to anyone as a top gym.

Golds gym Pflugerville deserves more then five stars! All of the staff is Considerate and helpful! The personal trainer Olivia jimenez Really gave me the confidence to start working out again. She’s a natural talent,and always pushes me even outside of the one on one training sessions. I couldn’t recommend her more!

Just moved here and decided to try out Golds Gym. Signup took less than 10 minutes and got my gym card in 1 minute the first day I showed up. Plenty of equipment, clean facilities, friendly staff, and welcoming people any day you go. Happy to be here and happy to stay at Golds!

The staff at Gold’s Gym Pflugerville are top notch. They strive to make it a great experience for gym goers, and it shows. The way they recently rearranged the equipment is excellent, it feels more spacious and open (and makes it much easier to get a workout done). Love this gym!

Good location, cleanest gym I've ever been in, plenty of equipment, a lot to like, but I want to talk about one of the trainers, Meagan McCorvey. From the moment we first met Meagan not only showed genuine interest in my fitness goals, but also addressed how we were going to achieve my goals in a personalized way. In other words, Meagan did not have a one-size-fits-all approach. My training was designed specifically for me and my goals. Meagan dug deep and asked me all kinds of questions about my life and goals not only in the gym, but in life. We talked about my short-term goals, long-term goals, daily schedule, family, diet, stress level, sleep habits, and even hobbies. Meagan wanted to understand me as a person to help design a program for me that works. I was, and still am, impressed...and meeting my goals.‍ So, looking for a top notch trainer? Ask for Meagan.

The staff at the gym is like no other Gold's I've ever visited! Always cordial, even more than that - encouraging. 👌🏼 They remember me, they pump me up. Never let them go! Especially Jazmyn (saved the day today!), Benjamin, and of course Philip 🏆 I won't go to any other gym.
They make the experience, every single time.

All the staff especially the Studio Coaches are amazing! One of the great things is that all the studio rooms are clean and wiped down after each class and all equipment it where is should be. It's great to get a good workout in when you know you're getting the best experience possible. They definitely go the extra mile! I feel the rooms are cleaner than other gyms I have been to. Would recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly, clean, and encouraging atmosphere!

My personal trainer is very thorough, demonstrating and describing how to complete every exercise in detail and explains why it’s conducted in that manner. He does everything he can to make sure the gym functions effectively. I greatly appreciate the cleanliness and spaciousness. Thank you for all of your work, effort, and tenacity in this gym!

Such a great environment! The stuff and trainers are super friendly and simply the best. The gym itself is super clean and organized very well. Especially the studio classes. I see time after time the coaches staying after to do extra from mopping the floors to wiping down all the equipment. The coaches for studio classes are always upbeat, supportive and taking time to really know their members. Best gym I've even been part of.

Employees are all cool, I usually tune people out but I find myself pausing my music to at least smile back and say hi
Also, I LOVE the powerlifting platform.
My only wish would be to be open 24hrs or at 5AM every day instead of weekdays. Not a huge deal.
The environment is more important and the people and patrons are good so far

Recently I had a training session with Meagan and it was great! She was friendly and made the workout fun. She accommodated my needs and helped me feel comfortable. Overall the staff is very friendly and helpful, and I enjoyed my time there! 👍

I have been a member for a little over year and gold's gym is filled with very dedicated, motivated and enthusiastic community of personal trainers and fitness enthusiasts. The studio coaches are very professional and knowledgeable, they create an environment that supports your goals and help provide the pathways to get there. The studios and facility are very spacious and cleanly, even during busy times. I am always greeted with a friendly smile and they have a variety of equipment to provide a great workout! I highly recommend the gold's gym, especially the studio classes! Thank you:)

I've been going to this gym since it opened. Great location, great lay out and the classes are awesome. I love using the sauna after a work out and although I haven't used it, the pool is a great touch too. The gym as a whole is always tidy, as are the bathrooms/locker room. In my experience, people have been pretty respectful of my space and I've always felt comfortable working out here. The yoga classes are my favorite. Go see my girl, Miranda for a killer Buti Yoga class. You won't regret it!
