This review is for the Chicago Eye Institute at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. What a great experience, from the reception to the discharge and everything in between. Everyone was so kind and friendly, and as a new patient I really appreciated the way they are so considerate of their patients

I saw Dr. Lopez, and his team- they were thorough, explained each step, and gave me the confidence that I made the right choice. Dr. Lopez was highly recommended and I understand why. I can't say enough good things about my experience, care and recommendations regarding my vision. It was well worth the trip in from the far nnorthwestern suburbs.

I was recently in here for outpatient surgery with their Surgery Services center and I could not be more pleased. This was my first time get a major surgery and they assuaged all my anxieties. My pre-op information and treatment was tremendously helpful. My surgery seems to have gone well (I was in the "anesthesia time machine," so I'll trust what everyone else said), and my post op recovery and pain management was superb.
All-in-all, 5 star service from the hospital staff and especially the nurses. My one and only complaint was I felt thoroughly in the dark in the weeks leading up until I started calling them to find out post-insurance pricing for my facility and doctor fees, but once I got through it was great.

Had my cardiac ablation for a fib there last week. Dr Peter Brady is a superb electrophysiology cardiologist. Phenomenal job. All the nurses and staff were friendly, professional and respectful. Great job everyone! In and out no complaints

I want to thank the nurses and doctors for taking such great care of my 89 year old mother for 6 days that included Christmas Day. They were attentive, thoughtful, thorough and resilient with the testing and evaluation. They got her up to speed and back home to us. She has nothing but warm words for the entire staff. Keep doing your outstanding work.

I've had surgery here this year, and my partner is here now for it too. Surgical staff could not be any nicer. They're kind, so helpful and great to deal with, very gentle and caring. I've never had a bad experience here and even chose my doctor so I could come here for procedures. It helps it's so very easy to get to.

The emergency room needs more than 5 stars! Great entrance staff with triage nurses, very clean, very efficient! The doctors and nurses in the ER are toP notch! They listen to your concerns and run the necessary tests to explain your solution to why you visited. The patient experience is amazing here. I need to thank the X-ray tech/CT scan staff they make you feel comfortable during your test and even make you laugh.. overall I would definitely consider coming here before you hit the hospitals downtown. So happy that they are in the neighborhood! Will recommend to anyone!

I am writing a review for the experience I had on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
I cannot say enough great things about the staff, nurses PAs and doctors at this facility. From Pam who greeted me in the reception area and brought me to my room to the nurses, PAs other caretakers and doctors that handled my surgery, my experience was definitely five out of five stars. I was fully informed along the way. I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. The entire staff did everything to put me at ease. Keep me informed and comfortable prior during and post surgery. I came in with a broken arm had a titanium plate implanted , and now my arm is on the road to recovery and I have no doubt it will be 100% in no time. Thanks goes to the entire staff and especially Dr. Kevin Chen who did the surgery. I had not been to Illinois Masonic in probably 30 years and it is a completely new facility. Clean and everything you expect of a top-notch Hospital. I highly recommend this facility and its staff.

I’d like to commend the Surgical Team at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital. My physician /surgeon Dr.Kevin Chen & his entire team, Anesthesiologist, Nurses, Medical Technicians, Transporters… made a scared nervous patient who is also a nurse feel calm and reassured. Over the years, I have been treated for various health issues at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. All medical staff members are courteous, knowledgeable and most attentive to the patient's needs! I highly recommend this hospital!

I had a medical procedure at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center , I couldn’t have been more satisfied. Everyone from the reception at checking in for my appointment were warm , friendly , professional including communication . The doctors and nurses explained everything from what they would proceed , what to expect and more helping me feel at ease . Great experience .

My grandfather was admitted into this hospital one night in critical condition. I have never seen him look so exhausted and ill before in my life. He was having a very difficult time, but the medical staff here were very compassionate and efficient in their goal to better his health. They immediately took him into surgery after several specialists and doctors came in to reassure us of what the process was and their carefulness. I instantly felt that he was in safe hands. Every staff member here has been very helpful, attentive, and passionate in their jobs. They truly care for the patients and are very knowledgeable in their field. Thanks to them my grandfather is quickly recovering.

My dad was in the ER with a bad infection. From the moment he got there, he was treated with compassion and respect. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and extremely efficient. They were thorough with everything . They took the time to explain everything that was going on and what they wanted to do. They care!! I believe that these wonderful professional people, in the ER and ICU, saved my dad’s life. Thank you how everything!!

I had an unexpected infection after surgery and was in the Med Surge unit (9 Stone) at this hospital for 13 days. The nurses, doctors, techs, and staff of this hospital were excellent. I felt cared for and listened to during a very difficult time. They took care of my body well, but they also took time to talk to me and see if I was keeping my spirits up. What an amazing team!

About exactly two weeks ago my daughter Annie arrived to the ER of this hospital.
Since the moment she arrived all she got was excellent care!
She had been sick all night, she called me from the er scared she’s only barely 23.
She thought she had food poisoning, it turned out to be emergency gallbladder surgery.
The surgeon was this Extraordinary caring and absolutely flawless Doctor Juan Santiago. We will be eternally grateful for the wonderful care provided to our daughter.
Maybe the hotel luxurious things aren’t there but oh my goodness the nurses are above and beyond the call of duty.
Thank you so much for saving our daughter’s life. If she wouldn’t have gotten the correct diagnosis she would not be with us today.

As soon as I walked in I was directed immediately and was helped by all staff that were there, I felt very safe and comfortable, the atmosphere was very welcoming, I noticed all professionals did their work very knowledgeable and ethically, as well as my surgeon, the assistants and nurses, all my questions were answered with the best of their ability, I also noticed my room was very clean as well as the hospital in general, I was immediately discharged, because I got such great care and am very pleased with the Services I was given from the moment I entered to the time I left. I want to thank the whole team as they really did effort to assist me during this emotional process I feel full filled and I just want to say how thankful I’m, places and a team like this is what there needs to be more of!
