Can I just say Katia worked magic on my hair! I went in for a serious retouch and I couldn’t imagine it looking any better! And it’s still so soft even after washing it a couple times! Katia was so personal and makes you feel like an actual person, not just an income. I will 100% recommend and go back!

International student here. Absolutely love what Katia did with my hair at Leedz Salon! I had been growing my hair out for almost a year and a half since I moved to the US and finally decided to cut it short. I wanted to try mullet but had no clue if that would actually suit my face. Enter Katia – and she worked pure magic! She's got an incredible talent for this and totally transformed my look. I've been getting a lot of compliments since then. It's my third time back and she just keeps on impressing.

When I first moved to Ames I was concerned about where I’d get my haircut. Most places don’t do the best job with my hair so I was skeptical with my choice of a salon (Leedz). I walked into Leedz to see Katia and told her “do your thing”. Well, she did her MF thing. In fact, to this day I DO NOT trust anyone with my hair other than Katia. Do you want someone who cares about your hair just as much as you? Someone nice, personable, and easy to talk to? Don’t sleep on Katia. She’s the one!

Mace Buss is the best hair person to go too!! I came from MO to IA and so happy she did my hair. So much so, I’m having her do my wedding hair and bridesmaids. She is so sweet and so talented. Make sure you call for Mace!!:)

If you a looking for a fade there’s no better person to go to Riley. Having blonde hair makes it hard to find someone who can cut it right and she did it perfect! 10/10 recommend

I get my haircut from Katia. She is a true priffesibal who takes pride in her craft. Every time I'm there, she is very enjoyable to be around, and her quality of work keeps me coming back. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a bald fade that looks fresh, clean, and professionally done.

This review is going to the hard working Stylist, Macee B. This woman has done an amazing job from highlighting my hair from dark to blonde, and has done a beautiful job correcting my hair back to my natural Brown color. I would 100/100 recommend this hair stylist. She is stylish herself, but you will see amazing results! Step out of your comfort zone and see how HEALTHY Macee will make your hair just after 1 appointment!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Katia for a couple of years now and she is amazing. I’ve had multiple styles ranging from a perm, modern mullet, combovers and even a longer parted mullet. If you need a good cut, Katia will do you well.

I can't recommend this place enough. Today I got my hair colored by Katia. She did an amazing job and cared a lot about my own experience and the end result. She also talked about how much she loved her job and puts 100% into her work. She also mentioned that she works a lot with transgender clients realizing the hair they want which is great highlight for me and can also accommodate Muslim women by having a separate room where she does haircuts.

Katia is by far the best hair stylist I have ever known. I have not had a SINGLE bad haircut coming here and this is coming from someone who hates haircuts. Every time she cuts it exactly how I ask and somehow it always ends up looking better. She’s very fun to talk to and I enjoy coming in. When I’m out of town for college I don’t even bother for a haircut, I wait the 3 months for break to come back here and get my haircut exclusively here. I think if you don’t come to this place I fear you might never get a good haircut because this place is THE BEST IN AMES

Katia does her thing!!! I swear by her and have been going to her for over a year. She has fixed my hair from other stylist’s bad cuts/colors and has made my hair stay healthy even with bleaching it. She always nails it right on the head, and I trust her to create with my limited styling/color vocab. And it has always turned out the way I wanted it to. I always leave satisfied and never question if it was really worth the money. Safe to say shes me go to blonde stylist and stylist in general . She also KNOWS her clients and will steer them away from bad decisions (I’ve asked her to dye my hair black and she already knew I was going to change my mind so she suggested going brown first which literally saved my hair bc I went back blonde the next app) 20/10 love her and it’s always a great experience
