Marilla Park

I take my grandkids to Marilla Park quite often. Usually we have lunch and then they can play on one of two playgrounds. On this day we parked in a different area and noticed a trail. My 5 yoa grandson loves to explore trails. So after our lunch my grandson my 3 yoa grandaughter and a senior lol!!! Walked the trails.
The trails are nicely maintained. It appears they were working on some crossings. The trails run from east to west on the south side of the park with different access points along the way. The terrain made for a nice workout and the young ones had no problems navigating the trails which we were on for at least an hour.
You have to check it out!!

Great place for whole fam, a lot of things do to, tennis courts, basketball courts, swimming, hall, skate boarding for extreme, park for all ages ☝

Perfect place for kids and family get togethers!
4/16 Update this park is now gone! It's closed off. They are adding in addition which will be a new swimming pool and a new kids park. From what I hear!! The red and blue park is still there for the kids!

Beautiful park! Great place to take the kids for a swing or a picnic.

Fall is coming in, the wildlife is in overdrive. Great time to get out of the house. Public bathroom are open.

Is a fairly decent park it is kept up and clean most of the time the Raps are metal so don't have to worry about cracks in the pavement stopping your skateboard 🛹 skate at your own risk like always!

Good place if you want to take a break and just clear your head. Easy access to the rail trail too.

Marilla is awesome. Good for adults and kids. Skaters welcome. Scooters and blades too lol But skaters are most welcome!!!!! Come check it out

Very serene. Nice place to picnic and sit and relax. There are BBQ pits and picnic Benches, bring a table cloth to spread on the table. There are a couple different play grounds to choose from for various ages and baseball fields as well as a skateboard park.

The river smells from time to time. Thankfully the parks are all away from the river. Fish up stream away from the smells. Which would be down state, away from the city.

Nice playground, skateboard course, trails, tennis, base/softball fields, and trails.

Awesome local park with tons amenities. Right along Deckers Creek Trail and in a nice part of town. I thoroughly enjoyed coming here, even in the winter the snow was managed. It was very clean too and I felt safe here. The rail trail runs adjacent to it, and provides hiking, biking, and other recreational opportunities.

This is the pool in the neighborhood I grew up. I took my own kids there when visiting my dad. It was so different! There were water slides, gradient pool, like the beach and adult swims every hour. They put in a large covered shelter and it was really clean.

Nice clean park. My grandson really enjoys it. The kids playground has some kind of astroturf flooring that is cushioned. It's pretty sweet honestly.

Plenty of parking as the park covers many acres including swimming pool, skatepark, and playgrounds. Secluded from the busy side roads as Decker's Creek divides it. Abundant shady areas and picnic tables for groups.

Very nice park to have lunch. Watch the squirrels. Nice for the family.

Love this park. If you hit it in the right time of day it's not bad. After school hours, or around noon it gets pretty crowded. It's a great park, but too small for the area and the only one in morgantown, so it gets pretty crowded.

Neat little park right on Decker's creek. Lots of play areas for kids, a pool in the summer and a skate park for boards/blades/scooters, whatevs. The park tends to be kind of dirty when there are a lot of people there, but I blame people, not the groundskeepers.

One of the better parks in Morgantown. Too bad they didn't put up markers to just people know there's a park. It took me a long time to find a park for my kids.
