Walmart Pharmacy

I went for my vaccine 8/27. The entire pharmacy team was very nice and helpful. I have had issues with fainting after blood work and vaccinations in the past. I got my shot, easy and painless. I went to sit in the designated area. A few minutes later I lost all color, started hyperventilating, got extremely hot and sweaty. It was NOT an allergic reaction. The team quickly came to assist me. Stacy the pharmacist sat with me, got my breathing under control while the team called for emergency service to make sure I was 100% ok before I left. Everyone was so kind and professional, I was embarrassed about my reaction and kept apologizing. Stacy kept assuring me it was no issue and why they have procedures in place. Thank you all so much. I appreciate the kindness.

I've had serious issues with other box store pharmacists. However, the staff and the pharmacist I spoke with here regarding my prescriptions were very kind, caring, professional and listened to what I had to say without interrupting me. They made me feel so very comfortable and ensured I could contact them anytime with any questions. Thank you so very much for a great experience and looking forward to staying with you for years to come.

I got a text message from them telling me my prescription was filled and what time I could pick it up. When I got there I didn't see anyone waiting and went straight to the cashier. Fast and friendly and included all the information I needed related to my prescription. So far so good, no complaints.

I have never had any issues or complaints with the pharmacy or the staff. They have even helped me find stuff outside of the pharmacy.

Never really had any issues with this place, it’s a pharmacy some issues do arise with communication between doctors and insurance and they work to the best of their ability to help you straighten it out.

I have used this pharmacy for YEARS! It used to be one of the best, but now it's slowly going downhill. The phone service is not the greatest, and the pharmacist named "Stacy" is very rude. I have called this pharmacy multiple times, not just as a patient; but I also work in Healthcare, and some days, my duties are to call pharmacies to ask, fix,etc. about medications - how I was treated and stereotyped by the Pharmacist and Tech just because of the medication I was calling about was so disrespectful.

Very slow, half of them pretend that you are not even standing there. Sometimes not very helpful at all. Occasionally try to be dismissive or claim insurance doesn’t cover things out of laziness even though it’s covered and they take a second look to realize that it is.

Again with the bad service here. Lady said only needed prior authorization for the one not both and now doctor office is closed. So can't get the authorization.

The tech named Jessica is awesome. Polite and gives clear answers and gets what you need through.

I have NEVER had problems with this pharmacy in the 6 years I have been on birth control. I was given 1 extra refill to get me to my appt due to my OBGYN being so booked out and when I went to pick it up the 1st time (Tuesday) I was told "Your insurance doesn't want to pay bc they only cover 12 refills. You need to call them before we will let you pay for it." I called my insurance the next day and was told I am able to pay for my Rx with no penalty. I went back on Friday evening saying I am able to pay and would like to pick up my Rx and was told "It isn't ready but can be filled in 30 to 45 minutes" so I asked if I could return the next day and they said I could. When I went back on Saturday I had the worst experience I have ever had and the head pharmacists basically denied me my Rx even though I had proof on my WVMyChart saying I have a refill and told me I was talking over her. I am 21 years old and was treated like a toddler by this woman who would not let me have my Rx. I tried telling her I will be out and today I will not have my birth control because of her. I am not on birth control just because I am not ready for a child, I am on birth control to regulate my periods. I found it so disrespectful that she wasn't saying "We cannot fill your Rx" but was actually saying "We WONT fill your Rx". DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY.

The pharmacist said it was my prescribers issue by not sending both prescriptions over. But they had both the prescriptions called over at the same time. This is a Walmart Pharmacy issue not my doctor yet my doctor has to make up for this error. Very rude and not apologetic for screwing medications up!!!
