Hampton Inn Morgantown

Very convenient place to stay the night before an early morning procedure at Ruby Memorial Hospital. If you are hungry, you can walk across the parking lot to Applebees, which we did. The hotel is well-maintained, the staff is friendly and the complimentary breakfast is delicious!

This was a great stay as I traveled in the area for business. Room was comfortable, wifi worked well. The shower had great shower head, plenty of hot water and pressure. The free breakfast was what you expect, but the hot items were cooked well with nice flavor.
My digital key hadn't arrived, but the front desk resent it quickly and it worked throughout the stay.
TV was good quality, the only issue is the slow scrolling DirecTV guide.
Free parking on site.
Overall a quality stay at this location.

Hotel looks like it went through renovations. The room was very nice. The shower was a little small but it did the trick. The only odd thing about this place is that they lock there cooler where they keep there drinks. I would stay here again

We've stayed in several hotels in Morgantown over the past 2 years, some cheaper and some more expensive. This has become our hotel of choice. Some of the other reviews here have surprised me, because our room has always looked nice and been clean. The shade on the window keeps the room very dark at night and Morgantown is quiet in this area even on Saturday night. The bathroom has HOT water and good shower pressure. The complimentary breakfast is very good and not just a few token items. For example, the oatmeal is actually cooked and there are 8 toppings available (brown sugar, pecans, fruit, granola, etc.), whereas some places just have little packets of individual oatmeal that you need to make for yourself.

The rooms only seem to have king or double beds, so when you are traveling with a family of four and you have teenagers, the beds are a little small. We've only stayed here when it is two of us traveling though so it has been fine.

My only suggestion is to add a decaffeinated tea option. I like tea before bed and in the morning, but I can't have caffeine.

We were in town for an impromptu overnight getaway and were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Looks like they’ve recently gone through a renovation. Very nice updates! The staff was amazing! Couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful! I don’t typically eat breakfast, but decided to, as it was complimentary. WOW! I wasn’t expecting such a nice assortment of breakfast foods!
We’ll definitely be back!

We were there for a couple night stay due to family member in hospital. The staff is amazing! Especially the food prep gentleman he was the best. Everyone we talked to was great and very quick with requests. Facility is clean and very convenient to get to and from hospital. Applebees right next door was easy for dinner.

I had booked two nights but things changed on my end and I needed to leave early. They were very nice and canceled the second day with no charge. The breakfast was awesome and the room was clean and tidy. Will stay there again when in the area!

The first thing I look at in reviews is cleanliness and breakfast. The breakfast is awesome and well stocked with many delicious hot food choices. The hotel is very clean and updated. the bathroom was outstanding and laid out well. very comfortable bed with great amenities in room. It is easy to find in a good part of town. Staff was very freindly and helpful. Lots of restaurants just down the street. Too bad I can't give this place 6 stars.

Good layout and easy to find. The rooms were clean and the hotel was well maintained but the external area was in poor state due to some ongoing refurbishment which looks like it could be managed better by the contractors. We had a bit of a tough time going to sleep as a couple of rooms away were some loud party goers but also it was quite noisy so would recommend ear plugs if you want peace. Breakfast was reasonable, the usual cereals, vanilla and blueberry pancake mix, various bakery goods, hot sausages, eggs and a range of juices and of course coffee and tea. I would stay again but more mindful of the immediate roommates...

Location, location, location. Perfectly located in Morgantown. Superbly located at/for Ruby Memorial Hospital and the WVU Alumni Association.
All the rooms are recently updated & renovated, including the rest of the hotel. As is always the case, in our personal experience, Hampton Inns are always so very clean, smoke smell free and well organized. This location is no different. The only thing missing, of any consequence, was they do not have a convenience "store"/"mart".
Will/would definitely stay here again.

This is a top-notch hotel in its class! Decor, cleanliness, staff, and comfort were all fantastic. It's too bad that it doesn't have a pool or hot tub, and the price was slightly high, but reasonable. We didn't make much effort to find a lower rate than the one offered at the desk.

We liked the wood-paneled nook in our room with the deck and coffee station in it. The coffee in the room and in the lobby was good. As for the staff, they were very welcoming and accommodating.

EXCELLENT staff, very clean , extremely friendly, room was very comfortable!! the manager was such a huge help I can’t remember her name but I loved her glasses and hair! My family I will be back again!! Thank you again for your amazing service!

Wonderful staff! When we had an issue with the room they quickly upgraded us to a new room. Also the best hotel breakfast I have had in my travels this year.

Easy to book. easy to get to. Got the room i wanted! complimentary breakfast worked for our individual tastes. Great staff, very helpful.

The room was very clean. Comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. We have been staying between one to two nights for the past 3 weeks. Very close to the hospital. Will be staying here again.

The staff is kind and very personable and will help anyway possible. However, the room was mostly clean, comfortable beds, except some minor vacuuming issues and the exhaust fan didn't work in the bathroom. The vending machines definitely need attention and filled. In all fairness I have not called the staffs attention to those minor details. All in all a nice place to stay and would certainly stay again.

Awesome room. Pleasant smelling rooms--no nasty air freshners or potpourri, VERY clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable, but did reek of Gain. Since I am very sensitive to the smell of Gain, I do not waste money on it. Would recommend they switch to either All Free and Clear laundry detergent or the unscented baking soda detergent. And unscented fabric softener. Staff very polite and helpful. Would recommend this hotel to any and everyone. Will be sure to use again.

Went to Morgantown for dog show at Mylan Park. Complimentary breakfast was full menu!!. Room service was non existence unless you went to front desk for towels etc. Employees were outgoing and friendly!

Awesome Hotel! Rooms were clean, easy access off the Highway, and most of all staff was amazing. A++++
