Meena and her team are absolutely the best. Meena helped identify my wife was not taking advantage of a retirement option with her employer. My wife thought she wasn't eligible for it after talking to someone in HR. Meena insisted my wife was eligible, my wife went back to HR, turns out my wife was eligible, and had the account setup. This saved us some money on taxes and saved a little more money for retirement. All this was after our first meeting before I officially became a client for my small business. First of all if google had a 10 star rating, I would give her and he team a 20. Meena is so personable and caring that I can't imagine anybody else handling my business accounting. You won't find more thorough accounting services anywhere. Meena and her staff are always pleasant and helpful. I can't recommend them enough.

We have taken our taxes to this company for several years. When Meena was there things were done in a timely and organized manner. The last 2 years, however, we have not been impressed. It has taken over 7 weeks this year, and still hasn't been completed. We have called several times and we are told they are "under review", and that they only have one person to do the reviews for their multiple offices. Taxes are due NEXT WEEK and I'm not sure they will make the deadline. Not impressed. We will be looking for another service provider next year.

UPDATE: Since Meena's departure the service has dropped considerably. Communication is poor and follow through is near non existent. After years with Padgett I was forced to hire a new accountant.

ORIGINAL: Prior to using Meena at Padgett Business Services, I was a single mother with two children and I was an independent oil and gas contractor registered as an LLC with the State of WV using an accountant out of Fairmont. I was making $50,000/year and paying, what I thought, was an astounding $12k in taxes. This didn't make sense to me. After continued outreach to my accountant and denial that there was any way to lower my tax liability, and after being placed on payment plans with the IRS, I was fed up and sought out a consultation with a different tax consulting company. At the time I could not have known what a blessing Meena and her staff were going to be to my life. Meena and her staff have been a complete Godsend to my life, professionally and personally. Meena has inspired me to get my finances under control and went above and beyond to reduce my tax liability. She guided my business and reduced my tax liability substantially. Under her direction and guidance, I was able to pay off all of my back taxes, I have avoided owing taxes, and I have started a SEP IRA. I have also, even with COVID, managed to pay off all of my credit card debt. I have been in debt since I was 18 years old and had my first credit card. I am now 36 and credit card debt-free, with a savings account, two college savings accounts, and a retirement account. Meena was able to guide me through the COVID pandemic, always taking the initiative to make sure I was taking advantage of every opportunity that was provided to small businesses as granted by the state and the federal government. This required no prodding or initial action on my part, she made sure to reach out and guide me through the SBA and PPP loan processes. She is not interested in just filing my taxes every year, but she is truly dedicated to my success as a business owner and a person. I know she cares about my financial success and has always strived to give me sound and personally tailored advice that is specific to my goals and my finances. With the recent purchase of a piece of land with the dream of using it as a home, a farm, and a non-profit, I am confident that my dreams of financial peace will come true with the help of Meena. Navigating multiple business tax filings as well as my personal filing does not seem scary with Padgett in my corner. I have complete confidence she will be able to help me successfully navigate the tax obstacles that come with my dreams.
