Baldwin County Pulmonary

I have been going to Baldwin County Pulmonary for 2 years. Kara the nurse practitioner is awesome. She actually listens to her patients. Office staff is kind and work well together.

I’ve been seeing Dr Houston for over a decade. I’ve never had a single bad experience with him. The staff is exceptional, scheduling/rescheduling is easy, and the wait is short because of office efficiency and promptness. Amazing, kind, and understanding staff. Dr Houston is eager to answer any questions and has great knowledge in this area. I wouldn’t see anyone else.

I have been a patient of Dr Houston for over 10 years. His office staff has always been pleasant and helpful. Never rude or condescending. It is extremely rare to wait more than 10 minutes before being called back. It’s only happened once that I can recall and Dr Houston was dealing with an emergency situation in the office. He and his staff are always very conscientious about patients having to wait. Dr Houston is efficient and may come across as a little abrupt. But is always open to listening and hearing out any concerns you may have and answer any questions. He has a good sense of humor and makes a lot of calls to patients himself, rather than having his office staff do it. He’s a great person and a very caring doctor.

Dr. Houston and his staff consistently demonstrate their care, concern, and professionalism toward their patients. I bless the day we found Dr. Houston. He is a wonderful doctor who actually listens to his patients -- that's rare. His staff is always kind. It's a pleasure to go there.

Dr Houston and his staff are amazing. They do not rush you through the appoinment and make sure your issues are covered. The sleep study is set up well and Dr Houston will call you the next day after 5 to let you know what they found. I fought with sleep issues for years before going and he was able to identify things that I was not aware I was struggling with. Glad I saw him, just wish I saw him sooner!

I took my daughter to Baldwin County Pulmonary after months of treatments/surgeries without improvement. Dr. Houston was very thorough with his questions and the exam. We still have some test to do but I gained a sense of relief when Dr. Houston hand wrote a detailed plan and gave it to me. His staff was very warm and kind from the moment we walked in to checking out.

Dr. Houston is an outstanding sleep specialist. I'd recommend him to anyone and have done so. There is very little wait time, and the staff is courteous and helpful. Five stars!

Dr Houston showed me how knowledgeable and kind he truly is. Something I didn't know I needed was that there was no judgment from his part (smoking). So please always be truthful about yourself.
He's nurse explained everything and even gave me options.
There was no wait from part of the receptionist.
