Great food and service. The grilled oysters are so good. I also had the crab cakes the first night and the cheesecake was delightful. The oysters were so good I came back for a second helping on night 2 in Fairhope. The Jubilee on night two was my favorite entree. Overall, I give it my highest recommendation for great food and service.

Best oysters I’ve had in a restaurant in Alabama so far. All their food was tasty. Crab and Corn Soup, French Dip Roast Beef Debris Sandwich, Burgers, all very well made. Their flaming oysters is not over powering with the butter and cheese and is made perfect. Chillin oysters tasted very fresh and delicious with the cocktail sauce. And the environment and service is welcoming. Outdoor section with live music is a bonus. Visit this restaurant!

Bluegill’s was an awesome experience from start to finish. We came with some friends for lunch and had the best time. The drinks were amazing! The best margarita lived up to its name, it was one of the best we’ve had! The food was phenomenal. We tried oysters for the first time and the sizzlin’ oysters are going to be hard for anywhere else to top. Our server, Linda, was so friendly and informative. We couldn’t have asked for better service! She gave us recommendations and always made sure our drinks were full. This was the best meal we’ve had in a long time. We’ll be back for sure!

The food was delicious! Both dishes were chef's specials. The slaw was excellent as was the sweet potato casserole.
The place was crowded, but we got our food fast and our server took the time to make recommendations!

Excellent food and service. We had the crab stack, cheese grits and broccoli rice and cheese casserole. These were all specials of the day, but I would highly recommend them. Our waitress recommended the Riptide drink and it did not disappoint. Vodka, sangria mix and sprite. It was amazing.

This place was a perfect stop after 10 hours on the road! The food was so good! We got the Ahi tuna appetizer, fried gator, crab cakes, grilled chicken, and shrimp (grilled/fried). All of the entrees were amazing! The Gator Gras drink was tasty and my husband was quite happy they had Yuengling on draft!

The Flaming Oysters set the mode, the oyster were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The corn and crab soup hit the spot, flavor and more flavor done right. The jubilee with redfish, crab meat and shrimp done to perfection. Keep up the great cooking.

Got a couple dozen of the char grilled oysters 😋 . UNC knows how to cook them right! Jacob was out server and did a great job as well, always love going here with the wife!

The food was delicious. The service was good. I would definitely recommend this place.
For the main course, we had Blackened gator bites and Maji maji. The sides we ordered were mac & cheese, hushpuppies, broccoli & cheese and green beans.
For dessert, we had vanilla bean cheesecake and pecan pie.

Food was all wonderful , I highly recommend the appetizer, that's the. Fried green tomatoes topped with Cajun cream sauce and cream sauce and cream sauce and. Crawfish tails it's wonderful best thing I had

Myles was the best server I’ve had in awhile. Come see us in South Dakota bud….
Oysters were SO SO good (and oysters aren’t our usual dish to order). Atmosphere was just like we wanted right on the water with some live music. 👍🏼

Flaming oysters are a must! Great atmosphere and the service was outstanding. We sat on the back deck and listened to live music and had our fill of the oysters. Great place for large families or groups.

We had such an amazing experience at the Blue Gill. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Unk and Shelly on the grill flaming up the oysters! They even gave us a sample and man they did not disappoint! We needed up ordering two dozen of them! Swayze was server and she was on point! We didn’t go without. Great atmosphere, amazing sunset and views, and wonderful food and prices

Absolutely amazing! We had no wait hostess was friendly. Our server Dylan was incredible! All staff had a smile and worked as a team!Will definitely ask for him next time.highly recommend the flamin oysters. Also ask for the crab stack it's not on the menu but it's a chef special and you will not be disappointed if your a crab cake lover!

A gem! We were traveling through Mobile and started the night and happened to find this amazing restaurant. It has so much character and if you choose to eat outside you are right on the bay. Everyone there makes sure you are well taken care of and the food is amazing. We started off with the crab stuffed jalapenos and they were totally awesome. We also had the Crab Sandwich and the flaming broiled oysters, all of which I highly recommend! The atmosphere is very relaxed and on the weekend they have a live band, playing music all ages will love. The decor is so unique and you must visit the restrooms. We will definitely go here again when in the area. As a matter of fact we will drive out of our way to visit Bluegill again. Amazing food, service and atmosphere.
