The Kirklin Clinic Patient Parking

It’s very convenient to park here and go straight into the Kirklin Clinic! Although I had to be dropped off at the Kirklin Clinic and my friend had to park my car due to my breathing because of a genetic lung disease that I have. Google maps took me around the world to get to where I was going to both the Kirklin Clinic and the Kirklin Clinic parking deck. Instead of taking me straight to both places the quickest way maps had me go up an extra block and several streets away instead of taking the closest way. Which I didn’t understand. I know that I am supposed to be reviewing the Parking Deck and not google maps. I still made it. If I didn’t leave extra early I would not have made it on time due to having to back track myself due to maps. I’m not that familiar with downtown Birmingham. Once I go another time or two I will know exactly where to go!

This is only a review for the parking deck.

It's always clean and well maintained. During my last visit (today) there was no one in the exit booths to ask for assistance. The card reader would not accept my card leaving me holding up traffic. Several rude drivers thought that the more they blasted their horns, the faster they would get out of the parking deck. I'm disabled and was just stuck there waiting & hoping someone would help. Finally, a gentleman who was in line behind me walked up to see what was going on. He physically lifted the stop bar enough for me to drive under it and drive away. Does this facility really need to charge patients for parking? Most hospitals now offer free parking!

The 2nd floor is easy to navigate, but the parking deck is always packed and hard to find parking spots.

Busy and packed used vale parking they was great but busy and a little over whelmed in my opinion

Took 30 minutes of circling to find a spot!
