Very polite. I had a very pleasant experience. This was my first visit to get a pap smear & set up for mammogram. The entire staff were so nice. It was a little bit of a wait but I was kept informed about how much longer it would be. Apparently there was an influx of walk ins that were sick. I'm 61 and was expecting it to be worse according to others comments I will definitely be going back.

The staff are very friendly and personable. They actually care about their job and the health of their patients. I go every 3 - 6 months to get tested, and although it can be a scary thing, the wonderful people there always motivate me and explain things in great detail. Better than a hospital!!

I must say based on the reviews I was skeptical BUT from the ease of making an appointment to the friendliness of the lady at the front desk to the nurse and all the staffing it was a great experience.

Needed copies of my birth certificate. Mask compliance is A+. Immediately seen to by a polite receptionist. The place is clean. In and out in less than 30 minutes.

New to the area an ran into problems with school transfer, needed to transfer immunization records to Alabama. ALL THE STAFF was so friendly and helpful, EFFICIENT the most pleasant EXPERIENCE at a health department EVER! I dreaded it and then felt so blessed! They informed me he was behind on one shot due to requirements in different states. They did everything they could to squeeze my son in that day so we could make our rescheduled appointment at the school! So thankful! Thank you Shelby County Health Department Staff
