Benders Gym

I really like this gym. It had a plethora of equipment and room for extra movement. The maintenance seems to be kept up now and the staff is great. The hydro message chairs are great for recovery and pre/post workout treatment. Of course there is quite a bit of people who attend this gym but that is because the variety in Scottsboro is small. I would give this place a try if you workout late hours or early morning.

I love this gym. Even though I don't 'workout', I go for tanning and hydromassage bed. I think they do need to change the bulbs in the stand up bed. The other tanning bed is out of service but heard they were putting in a new one..I hope so! Sometimes I just want to lay and be lazy as I tan 😁 but please change bulbs in stand up bed🤩 overall it is a great gym. Everyone is friendly, staff and members. Maybe one day I'll start working out but as of now I just work out for getting tanned and relaxing. And it has never been crowded when I go, yeah there are people there but no one is waiting on equipment.. just us waiting for the 1 tanning bed 😁. Love this place and it's overall a great gym and good mix of older and younger people of all sizes...so come check this place out..you won't be disappointed!

I really can't say enough good things about this place. First, the staff is incredibly friendly. Second, if you are going to lift they have everything you need. Could use a few more squat racks but you usually don't have to wait so it's not an issue. These people worked so great with me while I was visiting for the month from out of town. I recommend anyone looking for a great gym to check them out. Especially if you are traveling and need to get in a good workout while on the road. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Always clean and easy access to equipment. Showers have plenty of hot water and pressure. Only drawback is water jet chairs not working and tanning bed bulbs 30% out. Overall one of the best gyms in Jackson county in my opinion.

This is a great place not only to work, but also workout!! Members are so friendly! The equipment is all new and amazing. The message beds definitely do not disappoint either!! If you are looking for a new gym this is the place for you!

Bender’s is by far the nicest gym in Scottsboro. The staff is so polite and very eager to help in any way that they can. The gym is always impeccably clean. I love that it is geared towards people of all ages and fitness levels. This facility has so much to offer to everyone!

Great gym. Great atmosphere, top notch facility. Everyone is knowledgeable and courteous. Highly recommend coming here. They have the experience and they take the time to help you with your fitness and health goals.

It's the gym I use and it's open 24/7 I love it family plan for $54 a month, hydro massage chairs and standing and lay down tanning bed for my wife? Yes sir!! 5 stars and the staff make it even better!!

Great gym! I always visit here when I am in town. Staff is very friendly and helpful and they have everything I need. I like to mix up body building and oly lifts and some cardio. The rouge racks, bumper plates and curve treadmill make for a great circuit when I want to mix up the cardio. Definitely recommend!!

Matrix Equipment. Helpful staff. Three Rogue squat stands (not cages). Plenty of barbells and Dumbbells up to 120lbs, and a football bar. Leg press & V-squat, but no hack squat or belt squat. Seated leg curl, but no laying leg curl, but does have two GHRs. No ab machines. No lateral delt machine, but does have a nice pec deck / rear delt machine. There's one 90° (vertical) smith machine.

Two cable towers, one stand alone dual-cable unit. Various cardio equipment. Plenty of benches (2 flat, 1 each incline, decline, seated-military). Plenty of equipment for just about everything.

9/10 overall, not perfect but realize that absolutely no place is. They have a standing and a laying tanning booth, too. Pretty damned clean place. They say it gets crowded around 5pm.

Love it here. Nice equipment, friendly people, and anything you need for a work out. Free weights, cardio, cable weights, massage chairs, tanning beds, they have it all. All cardio machines keep up with everything, even your heart rate. I would defintely recommend Bender's to anyone.

Solid gym, improving day by day. Owner is a pretty cool guy and active in his business.. well rounded gym but not a bunch of specialized stuff.

Signed up today and was amazed by how well treated we were and how fresh and clean the facility is maintained big round of applause for the owner and to the staff for keeping up a sanitary gym :)
