Embassy Suites by Hilton Birmingham

We had an amazing experience! The hotel itself had a cool and unique layout that instantly made the trip fun. The location made for an easy drive to a variety of places, and they have complimentary on site parking, which I prefer. Breakfast was very very busy one of the days we were there, but the staff was in full swing trying the make the best of the situation. A second waffle maker at the pastry section may be helpful. They offered complimentary snacks and beverages each evening of my stay. We really enjoyed feeding the fish and using the indoor pool!

We had a great experience right from the beginning. The gentleman who checked us in on November 6 was super friendly and made us feel welcome. I wish I could remember his name. The hotel was very pretty. They had just emptied the pool and put fresh water in it.
It has a Ruth Chris which was very good and convenient.
Surprisingly the breakfast was good and the rooms were very large and clean.
We’re coming back Monday night and the following Monday. Definitely will be staying there every time we come.

LOVED the indoor atrium, w/it's planted tropical plants, stream & koi fish! The front desk has cups of fish food ready for the taking; we must've spent an hour feeding & watching them. Happy hour also was nice w/snacks, cocktails & a friendly bartender. ONLY negative was that while there IS a pool, some travel sites also showed a hut tub, & they don't have one anymore. Close to food & SO close to UAB hospital..overall great stay.

The rooms need some TLC but the front desk staff is always so welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay! It reminded me of walking into a hotel in the 90’s. We stayed here with my son’s soccer team and they had a blast. You can get fish food at the front desk. There are two fish over 10years old. Every room has a balcony. Our room was clean. Breakfast was great. Staff were awesome. We would stay here again.

The room was a little clean. Had lady bugs on the ceiling. The bartender was very nice and friendly. The breakfast staff was helpful.

We want to thank Embassy Suites for allowing us to host our family reunion there. The rooms were clean and stocked with the necessities. The staff was amazing. I must give a shout out to Ebonie for making sure my omelet and breakfast was to my satisfaction everyone was talking about how attentive she was to them. Please highlight her.

One of the best aspects of Embassy Suites is every room is its own apartment. With the way the rooms are arranged, you have your own space and privacy, while rarely being inconvenienced by noisy neighbors.

I also Iike that there is a sink in the master bedroom, as well as the bathroom, so two people can have access at the same time.

The only "deduction" is because I had a closet door with a broken handle, and when I reported it, it was a "known" issue - which makes me think: If you already know about it, why hasn't it been fixed?

Otherwise - great place, I'd happily stay again the next time I am in town.

Staff was amazing! We were very pleased with our room. We regularly visit Birmingham for football games and are well acquainted with the hotels in the area. Breakfast was great with plenty of staff working. Front desk was exceptional. Is the hotel a little dated? Yes… but our room was clean and facilities were great and large rooms. We will definitely consider staying at this hotel on our next visit!

Hotel hard to fined, small letters on small none lite signs if you'r not familiar area.
Hotel staff, starting with Helana, greetings to all who were waiting to check in. She
Is efficient and knows her job.
The room was awesome! Sleep well and large enough space for 3 adults to stay.

The tall young man on evening that brought us 2 extra blankets was kind.
We grabbed coffee and skipped breakfast. Check out was smooth.

I have stayed at many embassy hotels but this one is best. I've stayed a few tines but this time exceeded all other stays. The staff here is beyond great they are amazing. Everyone that works there is warm and friendly but I must say Ms. Nicole and Ms. Yolanda are the absolute best. The represent everything that good customer service should be. Anytime I'm in Birmingham I'll always stay there!!!!

This Hilton Embassy Suites was very good which seems to be a rare thing. I was very happy with the level of care, concern, and pride all staff have to the Hilton property. I have been to so many lately that are just....well, awful. This was not one of them. This hotel surpassed my expectations and I was so joyous to have experienced this here.

I was extremely satisfied. The staff was so nice. The rooms were cleaned. It came with complimentary drinks. The breakfast was amazing. Not just muffins and cold cereal. Hot delicious breakfast. This was the cheapest room for me and closet to my training site and nice at the same time.

Very positive experience. Great rooms, great staff, all very positive. Complimentary breakfast was adequate - pretty average - but that was fine. Having Ruth's Chris Steak House right in the restaurant was awesome - it was a birthday trip for one of our party, and we celebrated well! Highly recommend this hotel.

Candias at the front desk was so kind and print to get me into a room after a night of no sleep and a long doctors visit! My refrigerator wasn’t quite cold enough and Daleone in maintenance brought me a replacement before I could hang the phone up! Yolanda was so inviting when I went down later to grab a couple of waters. Jai helped me with getting my digital key to work.
Mathew in the breakfast area was very attentive to detail and quick to remove plates from the table that were just setting there. This staff at Embassy was everything! They are definitely comparable to the Publix and Chic-fil-A standards. Thank you all for being so courteous and warm during my stay!

I used to bartend at the Hilton, I've always loved it there. My bosses were so gud 2 me not 2 mention the tips was unbelievable

It’s an older property, but it’s an absolutely beautiful hotel. From feeding the koi fish, wonderful indoor pool, and enjoyed our breakfast with lush greenery all around. Staff was very helpful with getting out ac turned on (in February for skin issues) to the evening reception with a few drinks. We had a blast and will come back

Nice location right off a main thoroughfare.

Rooms were a decent size. Although the toilets required some handle holding in order to flush. Overall though, I would stay here again.

The staff at the front desk were very friendly. My family was approached on more than one occasion, that if our stay was not going well to please let them know. We were greeted with the HHonors bag upon check-in, which was nice.

The breakfast and dinner/snack offerings were really nice. The bartender stole the show though. Great personality, very engaging and provided really good customer service. The other staff were very attentive to keeping the area up so that no one really had to wait for a clean table.

We ate a Ruth's Chris in the facility. It was my birthday. I've never eaten at one before. Although the ambiance was nice and the staff friendly, the steak was just OK. We often eat at J Alexanders in San Antonio, I've never been disappointed with their steaks. No knock on the hotel though, its not their fault.
