I was really happy with my experience at Bella, the staff is really friendly, I called because I was arriving a few minutes late and they were so understanding and nice about it, I booked an appointment with Jade, she was really nice, and she made me feel super comfortable, she made sure I was ok with how much hair she was cutting and it was perfect, came in with a couple of different ideas of what I wanted and left it up to her to decide how she wanted to do it, but she left my hair better than I could have ever imagined it, absolutely amazing, she gave me advice about styling it and even curled my hair after everything was done and I loved it. I was and am super super happy with it, special thank you to Jade, you did an amazing job, you are the best. I would recommend you go see Jade for a great haircut and style.

I was very very happy with my experience at Bella! I made an appointment with Jade. She is very flexible with her scheduling, and it was super easy to get an appointment set up for the exact date I wanted! I ended up being half an hour late for my appointment, because I suck with directions, but she was very accommodating and understanding about the situation! This was my very first time ever getting my hair professionally done, so I changed my mind quite a few times before my appointment. Jade was great at working with me and making suggestions about the different thing we were able to do. She was extremely friendly and made sure there wasn't a moment of awkwardness as she worked with my hair and talked me through each step she was doing! Her station was also very clean and free of clutter! I'm usually nervous letting anyone cut my hair, as I've spent a long time growing it out, and usually more is taken off than I would like. Jade made sure to listen to the amount of hair I was willing to have cut off and didn't cut any more off than what I asked! I ended up getting hilights on my natural hair with a root-smudge and toner and a 3-inch trim. I was incredibly happy with the results, and I think it is safe to say I will be one of Jade's "regulars" from this point on.
Huge thank you to Jade for listening to what I wanted, and making it a reality! I left the salon with so much confidence that hasn't worn off since!

I had a great experience with Morgan recently. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted, and I’m so relieved because I had been wearing it up nearly everyday for 5 months because I’d previously had a bad haircut elsewhere. Morgan also gave me a blond balayage that will last me a long time and grown out really naturally (I’m the type of person that only goes to the salon 1-2x per year). I was also able to get in within a week of making my appointment which was awesome! I’d definitely recommend booking with Morgan anytime.

I've never had my hair professionally colored before and I was pretty nervous to get my blonde bayalage. I was trying to cover a red box dye I had done myself months ago and grown tired of. This was a challenge in itself but I also have LONG hair, almost to my bum. It took hours but Melissa was unfalteringly kind, professional, and friendly. She took the time to explore my options and she explained each step as we went. Her station was very clean I felt very welcome at Bella Hair Salon. I still have a ways to go to achieve my goal color; however, it is apparent that I'm in great hands and I have complete faith that I'll get there. Already scheduled my next appointment 🤭 Thank you for a great experience!!!

JADE! Jade is such an amazing hair stylist. She goes above and beyond what is needed! I’ve known her since the beginning of her becoming a stylist. From the first time at PCI and now she has been AMAZING. She has pushed me in so many ways and knows what is most healthy and most appealing to myself and others to my hair! I would absolutely recommend this gal!! Thank you for all that you have done!!

New to Ames and I’ve been researching and looking for a hair Salon for MONTHS, finally came to Bella Salon. And the atmosphere was impeccable, the ladies all got along and it was a fun environment. Melissa got me in right away, and was such a doll. A little bump in the road, but she got it all figured out and my hair looks amazing. Will be back for sure and will recommend! ❤

After getting my hair botched at another salon, I came to Bella Hair Salon to fix it with a root smudge and a toner. Melissa was so sweet and helpful in making sure I liked the color before finishing me off. I would definitely recommend to others who have had trouble finding a great salon

Jade was wonderful, professional and had great ideas. I have short curly hair and she cut it exactly as I wanted. She is flexible and scheduling is extremely easy. She has also colored my hair in the past and it was beautiful. Highly recommend her.

Megan Moore is fantastic. I am always the client who says "Do whatever you think would work" and she has never let me down! I have loved all of my haircuts & color and she is the master of eyebrows! My daughter also adores Megan. Would highly recommend especially for balayage!

Megan is super sweet, very professional & great at what she does! She is sure that your hair is looking fabulous & is exactly what you're seeking. She's fun to talk with & I'd reccomend her services to anyone in the Ames area. Booking is easy online through their system.

Very accommodating. Megan did great with our 11y old who has adhd and sensory issues (without being warned). She kept him comfortable and talked with him non-stop. His haircut looks awesome!

The girls here are so awesome!! I had a family member "professionally" do my hair and turned it bright Ariel red and I wanted it dark brown with a hint of red. And I'm not from ames, but live here now, and I was looking for a good salon and I couldn't be more happy with my choice here! These girls here stayed extra super late and made time in their week on short moments notice and fixed my hair for me! They had to put a ton of color on to fix it for me. And they did the absolute most amazing job. As long as I live in Ames this is the only place I'll go.

Great experience at Bella!! I walked in for a last minute cut before a meeting at wallabies(conveniently right next door) and the ladies of Bella not only went the extra mile to fit me into their busy schedule but they all were very friendly and professional making me feel at home!! I'll definetly be back thanks again Morgan!!!

Cara gave me a wonderful cut that is fun, easy, fits my lifestyle, and made me feel a decade younger. I love it! She is kind, uplifting , full of life and made the whole time so enjoyable!

I would give this place 10 stars if possible I had Morgan the owner I actually went in on a Thursday to get a quote for correcting my hair after I dyed it with box dye and my roots completely bleached while the rest of my hair was dark I didn’t even want to be seen in public it was that bad, after her seeing my hair she immediately scheduled me the next morning and came in when they weren’t even open to help me fix my situation she is awesome I totally recommend her and they’re price is amazing as well they are all awesome.!
