Love this show store!!!!
We’ve been coming here for many years now and they always have spectacular service and are super friendly! We get almost all of our shoes here. They jut don’t have many women’s dress heels so gotta go somewhere else for that, unfortunately, otherwise we would go here for every shoe need!!

Bill and his staff have done a wonderful job taking care of me with my feet issues. They are very knowledgeable about podiatry and their merchandise. Incredible service and great products. I cannot say enough good things about Tradehome Shoes in Ames, Iowa.

Great place to find shoes and other footwear accessories in Ames, especially with there being not that many shoe stores around here. The manager is super chill (he also opened the Merle Hay Mall location back in the 90s before it closed in 2008) and I always have a great experience at this store. One of my favorite stores at North Grand Mall.

Bill was very helpful in helping me find shoes! This is my store to go to find shoes that fit well and for my family as well. Highly recommend.

Bought running shoes, they didn’t work for my feet, brought them back and got them substituted for a better pair. Great service.

Bill has fantastic customer service. I had an issue with a pair of shoes I bought a couple months ago and he took more than enough time to make it right. He is personable, asked questions to get to know what I was looking for and I left with a couple other purchases as well.

Bill is the best there is! I’ve been shopping with him for years, and we love visiting, even when we don’t buy anything. Not pushy at all, and one of the most genuine, down to earth human beings. He shipped me shoes all the way to my university when he didn’t have them in stock. Great staff, great products, great service. Period.

I've got nothing but praises for the manager Bill, he's really nice and not pushy at all and helped me find an excellent boot. And when it turned out to be a defective he got me a new pair with no questions asked I'll not shop anywhere else for work boots

This is the only place to come for shoes in Ames! I have been a customer for six years, and I have never had a negative experience. Bill is always incredibly helpful, and he goes above and beyond to assist me with finding shoes to provide structured support for my feet. Additionally, I had no idea that heels could be so comfortable! He got me hooked on Pikolinos, and I will never go back to any other brand of dress shoes!

Ignore all of the bad reviews that have been posted lately. This place had 5 stars before all of these random people that have never shopped at this store started reviewing it. The management is great, and they never push people to buy things that they don’t need and/or want, they are just there to try to help you find things to fit your needs. I am not sure if all of the one stars are bots or just fake reviews, but this is a great store!

We had a little mishap where we came home with the wrong size shoes for my son. After wearing them for a few days he mentioned to me that they seemed smaller than he thought they should be. We took them back to the store and without any difficulties, the store let us swap shoes that had been worn outdoors and had some grass stains already for the proper size. I’ve always appreciated Trade Home’s great customer service but they really stood out today.

I now buy all my shoes from this store! Great employees remembered my shoe size from the last time I was there a month ago! You can get shoes from anywhere so why not have excellent service accompany your purchase.

I bought some chacos here. The salespeople were very helpful, informative and kind. I have never felt pressured in the 10 or so times that I have been in the store.
