Christina has been doing my hair for a little over a year now! She always exceeds the expectations I have, while managing to keep my hair healthy! Christina is always up for a challenge and is very personable! The environment of the whole salon is very welcoming.

Christina at Espirit is the BEST! The salon atmosphere is great and very welcoming. She always asks lots of questions to ensure she gets you exactly what you came in for. I have extremely thick hair and I have always been amazed with the results. I definitely recommend for any and all hair needs.

Christina does my hair and I continually end up loving it every time she does her magic! I just recently went and showed her pictures of what I was wanting and not only did she meet my expectations, she did an amazing job and she styled it so beautifully afterwards too! I would totally recommend her!!

Liz has been styling my hair for almost 3 years now and every single time, no matter how versatile the cut or color, she makes my hair look so freaking cool- she’s literally magical! 😩 At the beginning of every appointment, we discuss details in depth and before she starts, she always asks whether I feel she’s on the same page or not. I’ve learned so much about styling my curly hair from her and she never disappoints. I’m always looking forward to our sessions- 300/10 recommend booking a hair appointment with her!!:)

Go here & go to Liz! I moved here a couple years ago and I put off a haircut until I found someone’s IG that I felt like I could trust. Enter @miss_liz_hair. At first I think we just did a cut, but since then she’s also done excellent color for me. Amazing balayage & most recently some fashion colors, copper, orange, yellow. Every time I leave her chair feeling so happy and refreshed. I love that every time I come in Liz does a full consult. She spends time actively listening and understanding exactly what I want. We come up with a plan together, and before she starts she always asks if I feel like we are on the same page. She checks in as we go, making sure we are still on the right track & is happy to make changes if needed so that I leave with what I came in for. I feel like she’s great at evaluating all of my inspo pics, taking into account all aspects of how my hair is, and using her own skill to give the best results possible & also being realistic about what to expect. It’s always better than I imagined. She also recommends great products, like actually great products. Overall, Liz is such a skilled professional, an artist, & lovely person to talk with. Glad I found her :)

Liz is the best! I have seen her a few times now and have LOVED my hair after every appointment! She does a great job talking through how she is going to cut and color my hair so we are on the same page. Liz is very knowledgable and is by far the best hair stylist I've ever been to. Liz is THE BEST! Liz accommodates me and makes sure to take time to talk about what service she is going to do for me. Liz ended up doing my hair and not having a relationship prior to now she is someone that I can easily talk to and build a friendship with. I am a blonde and haven't had the best luck with hair appointments in the past and Liz is beyond amazing and has managed to keep my hair long, healthy and the PERFECT blonde color! Hands down the BEST hairdresser I have ever had! 100% recommend her to anyone!!!

I have been going to Taylor for years now. It’s been a pleasure watching her grow and succeed into the amazing hairstylist she is. She actually listens to my needs and gives me the exact look I want. I’ve always felt so happy and confident leaving the salon. Taylor is amazing, not just a great hairstylist but a great person. Highly recommend her!

I’ve seen Liz a couple times for hair coloring now and she is absolutely the best. Super easy to talk to and explains the process as she goes so you always know the plan and all the details. Very beautifully blended colors/balayage (and styles it perfectly at the end!) and I’m definitely going to keep coming back to try new things with her! Favorite color stylist I’ve ever had, highly recommend making an appointment 🙏🏻✨😌

Liz is wonderful! I’ve only seen her a handful of times, but I always leave feeling fantastic about my hair. She will walk you through the whole process beforehand making sure you’re on the same page for cut, color, style and price - she won’t do anything without making sure you’re okay with it first. She’s definitely a stylist that I feel comfortable saying “do your thing, I trust you.” Anyone in the Ames area needing a stylist would should be honored to have such a genuine lady as their stylist.

I found Liz a couple years ago and thank god I did!!! When I moved to the area I tried out a couple different stylist but I wasn’t fully happy or comfortable until I found Liz! She really takes the time to walk through what you’re doing at the appointment, makes sure you’re both on the same page and always nails the color or style I’m going for!! Cannot recommend her enough.

Liz is the best hair stylist! She is very knowledgeable especially when it comes to coloring my hair. She spends time on discussing what I actually want my hair to look like and every time she has 100% success. My hair has never been so healthy, shiny, and long. She has great recommendations for products and doesn't pressure you to do anything out of your comfort zone. Literally the best!

I love the way Liz (Elizabeth Nuttall) works. She gave me the best haircut I've ever had! Not only she did exactly what I wanted but she also styled it in a way that I absolutely adore! I've never received so many compliments on my hair! She's also very flexible, nice, and pleasant to talk to. I highly recommend her!

Taylor is an absolute amazing hairstylist and person! I actually met her through photographing her wedding but I instantly clicked with her and I'm so glad I did! Soon after, I decided that I wanted a new hairstylist, so I got ahold of her and truly thankful I did! Now, I will always be going to her for my hair needs! She not only is a sweet person inside and out but she puts up with me never knowing what I want so I just let her pick! And, I've loved it every time! Liz at Esprit is just the best!

With having darker hair, I’ve always had a hard time finding a place or even anyone that knows how to work with my hair. She takes the time to talk through everything to ensure you both are on the same page on the vision you want and has always made me feel like it is okay to say something, even at the end, if what I imagined just doesn’t work with my skin tone and have to make adjustments. I moved out to California but I’ll still be making my trips back to Iowa just to have her do my hair!

I had Taylor do my highlights and absolutely love them! She did a great job about understanding what I wanted and gave me the perfect lived in bright blonde that I was wanting!! 10/10 experience and highly recommend Taylor if you are looking for someone to do your hair!!

Liz is amazing! She takes the time to make sure you and her are on the same page before she even puts the cape on you. She is patient and kind and also very honest which is refreshing. I had never dyed my hair before and she has never failed me since. She is amazing.
