Holiday Inn Express Metropolis, an IHG Hotel

Quality customer service (5 star). My bed was comfortable. Well lit parking lot. Room was clean. No weird smells in the hotel. Breakfast included. They even had some parking that was for bigger trucks like mine…And there is street parking for semi’s with a trailer or a RV…etc. Decent price as well. I booked through the IHG app and members always get the best discounts for hotels and occasionally perks and the app and membership are free. If you travel a lot for work, like I do. It’s definitely worth it.
Back to the hotel, I’ve stayed at this location multiple times, and each time has been great.

The Holiday-Inn right off the Interstate came in clutch when both I and my co-pilot were exhausted from driving all night. I was able to reserve in person for the same price as I saw offered online. The beds were very comfortable and I appreciated the Dove shower-line products. The continental breakfast was very nice and even nicer was a sweet cook who came out and informed us that she had just made a fresh batch of cinnamon rolls ^_^ I would 10/10 recommend

It was higher priced than I would normally pay. But I treated myself to a room with a whirlpool bath.
The jets didn't blow very good though.
The room was beautiful.
Both my service dog & cat were allowed.
Had to smoke outside. That was ok.
They have an indoor pool & work out area.
They had coffee makers in room, nice Lil fridge.
Had a pantry & items like ramans,candy bars, a fridge with sodas & a freezer with ice cream bars. They also have breakfast ( food could have been better though.)
Everyone was nice.
It's Quite & Peacefull.
It is down past the ACEs truck stop & motel 6, on the corner of a dead-end road & a circle around road that comes back out by motel 6 if you go left & follow it around.
I would go back.

Wonderful, large suite. King bed was very comfortable. Room was clean. Free water bottles on arrival. There is still no a/c in the hall on the third floor. We stayed on the second floor. Took a minute to figure out that there are indeed blackout curtains. Excellent hotel. Would stay here again.

Where do I begin with this amazing hotel? Phenomenal location easy to get to the staff was beyond amazing! The room was perfectly clean not one complaint the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in six pillows a piece soft fluffy towels and a breakfast to die for! The hot tub was amazing the pool was amazing I have not one bad thing to say about this amazing hotel and it's staff! My last morning there there was a little girl about four maybe checking out breakfast telling the gentleman who I am assuming was the manager she wanted bacon he tells her what we have turkey bacon no no turkey bacon she says how about cookies you have any cookies for me? He went over and bought her out of his pocket cookies from their little vending area. It was about a 15 minute interaction and it was the sweetest thing I have ever seen! More hotels need to take cues from this place because any holiday and express I have ever stayed at has always made me feel like I was at home. This one however went above and beyond!

Breakfast was great. Exceeded my expectations. Rooms comfortable and clean, spacious. Beds are great. Pool, hot tub ,and sauna are available to use.
Would highly recommend

Very clean facilities. Road noise was minimal. Not a lot of good restaurants close by, but Paducah is only 15 minutes

Spent three nights at this place. Good location great services
Clean and Comfy room however the bathroom needs some attention.
Indoor spa and pool.
Definitely will book here again

The hotel warrants a 4 star review because there are problems with the building. However the staff is so beyond friendly and helpful that it doesn’t even matter. Best stay I’ve had anywhere. The hotel was comfortable with plenty of convienes. But the gentleman who checked us in was outstanding and Mandy on the night staff went above and beyond to make sure she addressed our issue. And when I checked out no one was at the front desk and a maintenance man was able to check me out. Everything they did was above and beyond. If I had a hotel I’d want these folks working in it. Thanks guys for the great stay!

Great spot right off the freeway clean rooms, an indoor hot tub and pool, breakfast in the morning the cinnamon rolls didn't have icing which was weird for Holiday Inn but it was a pretty nice stay!

Very good hotel, great service very helpful. Milton set us up very nice!

Stayed here for a night and it was an all I needed. Easy check in and near a gas station which was nice.

This was a comfortable, fairly updated hotel. Good service, clean room, and better breakfast than most hotels. Good TV Line up with premium channels included. The bed was a little hard, but the bedding was plushy. They charged $25 for our 5 pound dog, but there total charge was still less than la quinta wanted. Well stay here again.

The( before 10pm)staff was amazing. When I came in with a huge problem from a different hotel. They were really able to help me out. And I appreciate it greatly.

We did pre-check in online. Got to the hotel at 2:30 am and they had us checked in within 2 minutes. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was hot and ready. Friendly staff!

I am Holiday Inn Express for the rest of my life! I had a booking from out of state down the street at an extremely unpleasant hotel. I arrived frustrated and angry after arguing with Priceline. Tabitha (front desk) changed my whole get away!! She was so pleasant, funny, and gave me that "it's cool, your home" feel. She made it simple and quick. The hotel was amazing~~ Beautiful, perfect, honestly, hot tub favorite part of entire vacation. I will definitely be back without thought if in the area again!

Very nice, quiet, clean hotel. The breakfast was also hot and had quite a bit of options. Clean breakfast area too.

Thank you for a quiet and comfortable clean room. Definitely the best bed we had slept in on our trip. Breakfast was having a choice of cereals, fruit, yogurt, or pancakes. Easy to get to despite road construction.

This hotel was actually much better than I expected. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean, and the rooms are better than expected!

The breakfast was actually better than I have had in other hotels lately!

Check-in was easy through Expedia booking.

A huge GOLD STAR was the built in USB ports at the night stands.

The tv was actually huge, but I didn’t watch anything on it. I really wish they would just make them linkable to cell phones so I can cast my phone to it.

The only downside that I saw is that the entry to my room (215) had tule work that looked to have been destroyed by something heavy falling on it and then had a horrible repair job done. (This could also be due to a remodel and it is still settling)

All in all: FIVE STARS!

We stayed here Sept 6. One of the nicest places we've stayed. Either it's really new or it has recently been upgraded. Furnishings were top notch, not cheap looking. Carpets and bedding looked new. Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave, safe in wardrobe. Iron and board, hairdryer in room. I've managed property and know where
to look for dirt, especially corners. Our room was spotless. The breakfast was outstanding. Omelets, scrambled eggs, sausage links, cereal, all the usual. All was hot and fresh. Staff was all friendly and helpful. Price was fair and $20 less than the place we stayed further south the next night which was a big disappointment. We will stay here again if in the area.
