Cricket Creek County Forest Preserve

Love the walking paths very peaceful. If u like to walk this park is for you. Washrooms just those out houses. It could use more. They only have one in the parking area. Other than that you have to hold it till you get back to the car.

Great park for walking, biking, fishing or model boat racing!

Great place to walk/hike. They have water with fish, ducks, and turtles to look at. They have fishing and kayaking (bring your own kayak, I believe) I just live walking there anytime of day.

A great gravel trail. Easy walking and a flat path. Always some good wild life to see as well!

It was a beautiful Saturday so we decided to take the RC boat out.. 😁 It's such a beautiful park. I think it's out new favorite place. Its well taken care of can't wait to start fishing. 🤗

Nice quiet place. Connects to the southern portion of the salt creek trail. Saw some huge goldfish 🐠 very cool sights and sounds

Cricket Creek is a nice tranquil wooded setting with a couple ponds off of Route 83. So, if you're tired of the daily grind, the hustle and bustle, of work and life. This place is literally a little gem in the thick of urban suburbia. Great fishing, lovely running/bike path, and a pond for model boating. Pretty cool and have been coming here for years! My wife was quite relaxed and enjoyed a quiet rest...

Cricket Creek is great place for biking, jogging, walking and fishing. Its very peaceful just taking in all the nature. Very clean and truly a hidden gem.

Great place for a walk or bike ride. Not very crowded and always seem to see deer during my visits no matter what time of year.

Great place to walk! You can head south into Elmhurst or north to Wooddale or just loop around between the ponds and I asily get in three to four mile walk although with the connection to Salt Creek trail you can walk much further if you want to. The Preserve is noisy from all the traffic on Rt 83 but to be expected. A favorite place to walk.

It's absolutely gorgeous here. Plenty of scenery! There are different aspects, depending on how the person wants to enjoy the layout. There are several ponds for fishing, taking pictures and walking around. If you're riding you're bike, or walking, there's a path to ride or walk on. You could spend hours here it's worth every
