Barnelli's Pasta Bowl

Due to the current climate. After 10 pm I can't imagine a better place to get dinner. Fun and reasonable tons of good looking people coming and going.

Excellent Italian cuisine is available at Barnelli's Pasta Bowl in a quick-service setting. The restaurant's interior is distinctly "Chicago," with artifacts and relics from the city's past. Due to the fact that the restaurant and Portillo's share a building, their menu is extensive. The chicken parmesan sandwich was delicious. Expect a crowd if you go for lunch because this is a well-liked local lunch spot.

When I lived in Chicago, this place made me not miss moms cooking so much!

I had a chicken pasta in white sauce and my friend had a pizza. Both were incredibly tasty. The ingredients in the pasta were so fresh! So delicious... and the atmosphere is nice, something like a market place with a lot of cool items on display. Also great value for money. Highly recommended.

Always great food, atmosphere and service

Portillos is one of those classic chicago-area restaurants that you just need to go to! The hot dogs, shakes, malts, and fries are incredible, along with basically anything else you can order. This location in particular has very speedy service and the staff is generally friendly and responsive. I would definitely go to this location again.

Barnelli's Pasta Bowl offers great Italian food in a fast casual atmosphere. The decor of the restaurant is very "Chicago" full of memorabilia and collectibles from Chicago's history. The restaurant shares the building with Portillo's which makes their menu vast. I enjoyed the chicken parmesan sandwich. If you're going for lunch, expect a crowd as this serves as a popular local lunch favorite.

The absolute best food in Chicago!

Portillos has the best beefs, polishes and burgers. This location is one of my favorites. 5 stars hands down. Make sure you try to cheesy croissant beef.

I love this place in River North. The baked spaghetti is amazing. The make your own salad is great too. High energy and fun.

Anyone that doesn't like Portillos is smoking crack and have no taste buds. Its fast food ppl and the best place for it. Hot dogs are supposed to be small btw

Goto place for pasta and salads. Fell in love with Chipotle BBQ chicken salad customized to tuna salad. Pesto chicken and diavolo pasta are fantastic. Sandwiches are good too and the cheese fries. 👌😊
