This park is the best! Toddler park with the best fake grass that is so soft. Ducks and geese are always around the corner to meet you. Lots of shelters and playgrounds to choose from. Almost one for everyday of the week and something new at each one. Stop at the pond. Take a good scenery walk. Great place to take photos, pick up pine cones, trash if needed but always clean!! Park is safe and my kids love to go.

Amazing park in the cozy neighborhood heart of Collinsville. It's has everything from basketball courts, baseball diamond, playground for the kids, lakes for fishing, ducks and wildlife for the kids to see, and much more. I had a family reunion in the park and the city of Collinsville was very accommodating with the times, location, assistance, and many other requests I had. Safety and security is a large thing I have when it comes to a public location, this park is VERY well patrolled by Collinsville police department. You can rest assured the police are a moments notice away. They have fishing, festivals(Italian), and scheduled events that pass through the park often, nothing but fun and exciting things are happening around woodland park and your family will definitely enjoy them.

They're in the middle of constructing new covered picnic areas at the moment but still a nice place to take kids to the playground, shoot hoops, walk in nature by the ponds, or play disc golf.

Woodland has so much to offer, from playgrounds and beautiful scenery, to disc golf and clean pavilions, everything is very well maintained. There have been some updates in the past year or two and they are in the favor of the public. It’s definitely intended for families or for adventuring with friends. They offer the use of loaner frisbees (discs) for disc golf at no cost too. The scenery boasts many cool spots for photos. There are ponds, a red bridge and hilly areas with lots of trees and foliage. The park is a hidden gem!

Beautiful park with a few different places with playground equipment, ponds, picnic tables, ducks, geese, and a pavilion.

I really like the park. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I was there for my cousin ( The Harris) daughter graduation party. We had a wonderful time. No one was arguing or fighting. The only issue I did have was that the restrooms were a little far from the event. I think it should be more than one location. I like seeing the police patrol the parks, making sure things are going well. If I were a resident of Collinsville IL. I would enjoy just having more activities there. There is one other thing. Guest of the park needs to respect the events that's happening and not to walk your dogs around the other people's parties if you are not part of it.

I absolutely love woodland park ! I’ve been going here since I was a kid, brought all 5 of my kids here and now my grandkids. They have 4 different playgrounds, bathrooms and a big fishing lake. There’s also a ball park and other things to do !

The new baskets for Disc Golf were AMAZING! Thanks to whoever funded this. It would be nice to see some signs at the entrance that say: Beware of flying discs or now entering disc golf course.

I went to a birthday party at the pavilion across the street from the bathroom. The pavilion seemed well made and has a charcoal grill. There is a drinking fountain with dog watering option near the pavilion. There is also a playground. There is a nice view for 2 pounds with ducks. The bathroom wasn't very close, but you could see it from the pavilion. There was plenty of room for the group I was with. There are beautiful mature trees around the pavilion. I had to park pretty far away or in the grass like other people did, so I parked far away. This seemed like a very nice park.

It was awesome so many things my kids enjoyed. The play grounds have so many different things you wouldn't find at any other park. Beautiful lakes. They have disc golf there and even a library box for kids to pick out books.

Nice pavilions and playgrounds. Ducks and geese at lake. Please only feed whole grain cereal or cracked corn. Bread makes them sick and can kill them. Cheerios are loved by the animals.

Played at the disc golf course for the first time, went into the water of course and staff member Michael came to the rescue and pulled it out of the water. He’s a legend and needs a raise!

We love it here! The various playgrounds, trails, birds to watch, the leaves change beautifully in the fall:) frizbee golf, baseball fields, pavilions to picnic or reserve for a party, and public bathrooms.

A great park in a nice area. They added a lot of new playground equipment that provides options for all ages. My son and I had a great time playing on all playgrounds and just walking through the park and over the bridges. We will always go back to Woodland park.

City installed that recycling unit which was a fantastic investment and a good use of taxpayer money. That type of thing is why I have faith in local government and is proof that local governments are important to improving communities. Park generally feels safe and there aren't as many suspicious types as in the O'Fallon City Park. When I moved to Collinsville being from O'Fallon, I was concerned about how family-friendly the parks would be because I had spotted 2 different strange men with cameras taking photos of people and children without permission at different points in the O'Fallon City Park and a host of other sketchy things which lead to feeling unsafe at parks. Haven't seen any obvious lurkers at this park, but keep your eyes open just in case. There have been aggressive, cursing teens especially in the summertime, but that is to be expected of public parks. Ducks are pleasant (actual ducks not just Canada geese),lots of parking, and good, safe playgrounds for your kids. They even have baby swings! Another annoying thing is teens hogging the swings which are designed for the weights of younger youth and not letting actual kids take turns. Seen this a few times during summer/early fall
