This is a great spot if you are interested in coin collecting. We had coins to sell and Lucas helped us both times we were in the store. He is very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and kind. He shares information and offers fair prices. We will be back.

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. I've given this place a 5-star review before, but I will continue to do so just so that they stay open forever. I don't stop in as often as I used to since moving to the city, but even after a very long gap, the owner's son immediately recognized me and gave me a warm greeting as soon as I walked in today. He then brought a big tub of treasures from the back (things he knew I would like) so that I could rummage through. He gets me : ) The staff is knowledgeable, honest, incredibly friendly and warm. The prices are fair, and he always gives me a great price without my having to ask. I love stopping in whenever I'm in the area. It's always such a pleasant visit and pleasant experience. I hope they stick around for a very long time! Definitely a treasure in Glenview.

I have been going here for about 25 years. I started with my grandfather who had got me into collecting coins, gold, and silver. Big John handled my fathers coin estate when my grandfather passed and did a wonderful job! They give very fair prices, where as other places try to overcharge thinking you will haggle. This coin store does the best they can for you and are very trustworthy. I still go in every couple weeks to keep my coin collection going!

I started buying gold and silver in 2002 from Glenview coin and have continued to make purchases over the years. I’ve gone to check out many shops for gold and silver, and Glenview coin continues to be the best value and best service.
We no longer live in Crook County, but I enjoy working with Glenview coin so much. I continue to give them my business and they’re able to send me packages for delivery. Great company great people I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Very friendly staff at this place! Prices are reasonable. I found this lovely turquoise statement ring. Will be back!

I've been a customer for years. This is a great family business with lots to look at, and I love coming here to treasure hunt. Every single time I walk in, the owner's son recognizes me, remembers what I like, goes to the back and then comes out with a variety of items for me to look at...without my having to say anything else after the initial "hello." He just knows (fyi, I love Tiffany & Co. and David Yurman). They never hover over me while I shop, never pressure me, and they are super helpful and friendly. They are fair with prices and are willing to negotiate. The great customer service and competitive prices are what keep me coming back.

The young rep behind the counter was very helpful and even showed my 10 year old son some interesting items just to entertain/educate him. Fair pricing on Silver Eagles. Some shops just don't cater to our youngest generation so we will be back for sure.

Best value for my coins and jewelry. The jewelry store I went to offered me 15% less and did not want to take any gold jewlery less than 14K. The other coin shop in the area offered more than the jeweler, but less than this place. Kinda funky place too. Like the've been there forever. Nice, and told me they purchase old postcards and letters. Very nice to deal with.

Buried treasure is here and the only map you need to find it is Google Maps and a GPS that will take you to Glenview. This place, however, is not just about finding and buying, it's about paying you the fairest price possible for your own treasures -- silver coins you have stuffed in a bag, diamonds that have lost their gleam in your eye and arrh maties, those gold doubloons in that attic. Bring it here -- sell it, put it to use, spend it and live a little -- live a lot. Father and son, John and Matt will be happy to see you and take care of you. I bought a cookbook written and signed by Bess Truman. Super

A great place to see high quality coins with a very friendly owner. I had an old coin collection to sell and he was more than fair in pricing and purchasing the collection from me.

Stopped by a while back to get coins graded and was very satisfied with the service. No complaints at all.

Great experience the guy that i spoke to said he took silver and when i arrived at location went threw on what he said ill definitely be selling to this location again worth the 58 min drive from round lake :)
