Great place for DIY & GC's looking for a solid selection random items to finish that home improvement project you have. This place also has a pretty decent select of home furnishings from time to time, obviously if you find something you like you'd best purchase it right away as it will most likely be sold soon.

Great store. Huge parking lot with some handicap parking. The store is Walker friendly plenty of space to move around. This is a homeowner play ground. Staff is helpful. Place is not AC.

So many useful items here. From doors to windows. Cleaning supplies blankets furniture. You name it. Cheap. Tables and chairs. Bed frames. Neat place. Busy today

This place was so nice with the amount of items they had and diversity. We were even assisted by the workers to move in the furniture we bought, which only solidified my love for this place!

This was my second time here first time went next door to the Mexican flea market then I went to see what this store was all about no one really talks about it u no in my town . It was a really hot day when I first week even hotter inside but found it really amazing and so cheap too for really good furniture the small trinkets look like they belong in the garage tbh. But I the furniture looks amazing and better than goodwill and not bad prices. When back this week for a chair for my brother desk found a bunch of great looking ones . For him the perfect office chair for only $15 and it looks brand new. And great quality too then I found a really cute Bluetooth pod speaker for $1 bran new roo in the box and everything I might go back and get another one super cheap what a gem for habitat for Humanity. Everyone was doing their thing but when i found the chair I wanted I asked a worker toget me one and he told me that the shopping carts are over at the front he seem kind of lazy but I told him I don’t want to leave my things and chair so please go get me one he was kind of lazy man

Always crazy cool finds in their rotation of inventory and finds. The sofas seem overpriced but more other things are good deals

I live in Rockford where there's a Habitat Restore as well but the staff there is not helpful at all & everything is overpriced in Rockford. The Elgin store has variety & priced appropriately. Good work Elgin Staff. You are all Awesome!

I always find great deals! I'm redoing my laundry room and found a utility sink and base cabinet for $50 & $25. And it's helping a great cause!

What a great store! There’s always a giant selection of home improvement items like flooring, plumbing fixtures, appliances, electrical products, lamps, doors and windows, lawn & garden and tools. The store also has new and used furniture, kitchen gadgets and more. This place is HUGE, about 40,000 square feet. What is in stock today might not be there tomorrow. If you see something you want buy it. Inventory is always turning over, you need to keep coming back.

Been visiting this RS since it opened on the backside of the building where they're located. It was pretty much was just a loading/delivery dock and very little floor space but always cool stuff. Needed a sink. . . took only 2 visits to find the perfect piece, needed a work table. . . they had 3'x8.5' door blanks which were, again, perfect. Chemicals, paint, stuff for my work, even something as simple as a small roll of black & yellow reflective safety tape for $1 (retail: $6.99!?). I love resale/thrift shops anyway, but they're selection has helped and continues to help us out in specific and uniquely unique ways. Oh, and never a problem with the staff or phone calls.

This place is great for the artist looking for old things to use. Also, great for saving money on repairs by getting an item from here. There are some new items for sale cheap. There are cabinets for a full kitchen, doors of all kinds, windows, toilets, bath tubes, chandeliers, etc. You get the idea. People donate these things to I turn earn money to help the less fortunate such as veterans who need assistance fixing their home. It goes for a good cause so if you're working on a home project go check this place out and see what they might have... Happy hunting.

Good place to find new and unusual home improvement items for a great price. The store gets donations from several major companies and probably local businesses too. You can also drop off reusable home improvement items so they can be resold and reused.

Very friendly. Loaded dishwasher into my car for me. Found the best set of shelves for only 10 dollars. You can save so much money there.

They have a very good selection of items you may be looking for. Bought 2 serving cabinets, 2 coach lights, and a bathroom sink for what a new bathroom sink would have cost.

It help when you budget. Furniture reasonable price. Now price kinda going up now in furniture. Can't get $20 counch no more. Nice place to shop house wear.
