Francesca's North

We recently hosted a work event at Francesca North, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success.

First and foremost, the food was exceptional! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious dishes that were served. The attention to detail in the presentation and the quality of the ingredients truly impressed us.

The service provided by the staff was top-notch. They were attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire event. From assisting with setup to ensuring our guests had everything they needed, the team at Francesca North exceeded our expectations.

However, we did encounter a couple of areas of opportunity that we feel could be addressed. The initial communication with the woman we signed the contract with could have been better. We found that she did not effectively relay our event to the manager, which caused some confusion. Fortunately, we confirmed all the details ourselves, but it made us wonder what would have happened if we hadn't double-checked.

Another aspect that needs improvement is the sound system. It was virtually non-existent, and we had to rely on our own sound equipment. We were fortunate to have brought our own.

Overall, despite these minor issues, our experience at Francesca North was exceptional. The staff's dedication, the outstanding food, and the overall experience make it a venue we would definitely choose again for future events. We recommend Francesca North and look forward to returning in the future!

One of the best meals we have ever had! Loved the bread served fresh and hot. The hearts of palm and artichoke salad was to die for- it brought me to tears it was so good! The ravioli was delightful and the pork chop outstanding! And then the chocolate torte for dessert ended the meal on a perfect note. Enough to share it was a nice dark chocolate with a perfect vanilla bean ice cream. But the sweet cherries set it off just right! Thanks to Moisés for being an amazing server and making great recommendations and being perfectly attentive along with a great sense of humor! We came from out of town and picked it on a whim, but we will definitely be back! A perfect anniversary dinner! Thank you!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining here and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly by Kim M.

From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted warmly by Kim M. and made to feel welcomed. Kim M. went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Her attentiveness and genuine care for our needs were truly remarkable.

Moreover, the food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was prepared with precision and bursting with flavor. The presentation was impeccable, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail.

Not only did Kim M. ensure that our orders were taken promptly, but she also checked in regularly to ensure that everything was to our liking. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she was knowledgeable about the menu, accommodating our dietary preferences flawlessly.

Overall, my dining experience at here was exceptional, thanks in large part to Kim M.'s exemplary service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for not only delicious food but also top-notch service. I can't wait to return!

On March 3rd, I hosted my Mother’s Birthday Dinner in a private room.. needless to say it was the best dining experience many of us have ever had. Not only was the food beyond, but the service was something unheard of. We were fortunate to have Greg & Benjamin as our servers and they were the absolute best. Especially now a days, I know how difficult it can be for many working in the food industry, but they were the most accommodating, kind, and helpful individuals. I’ve dined in some of the nicest places you can imagine, but still nothing compares. The food again was beyond - everything was to perfection and not a single complaint from any of our guests. Truly could not have asked for a better experience and will most definitely be giving recommendations to everyone I know. Thank you so very much to Lisa for assisting in the coordination of our event and Benjamin + Greg for the flawless execution. Many Thanks!

I hosted my nieces bridal shower and it was lovely. Our coordinator, Lisa, was great to work with planning the shower. Kim and Greg were great servers and very attentive and super friendly.

I would recommend Francescas for a dinner or event. It was a wonderful experience!

My good friend Alysa’s daughters Nikki and Dayna held a wedding shower for their brother’s fiancé.
Francesca’s prepared a beautiful luncheon with exceptional service. All servers were terrific but an extra shout out to Kim who made the shower a great success !

We had such a phenomenal party! Daniel and Greg worked endlessly and went above and beyond to make sure everyone was served and happy. The service and food were exceptional. Thank you for helping us celebrate! We will definitely be back for our next party!!

Went to the botanical garden and while heading home thought to try this place after seeing some great reviews . Initially the place looked small but from inside it was nice . We were seated quickly and served with their classic bread olive oil and cheese .
We ordered the bruschetta which was excellent .
For drinks we ordered red wine since it pairs well with the food we ordered .
For the main course we ordered the white fish and salmon with shrimp for me . Honestly the fish both of them were cooked to perfection . I felt the salmon was done wayyyyy better than the white fish .
Even the veggies were too good .
For the dessert we ordered the cream puffs and tiramisu with cappuccino. Tiramisu was out of the world . Cream puffs were just ok .
Overall we loved the place

Sophie was amazing and so hospitable. This is our second time coming here , the music, the atmosphere, the appetiser- Asparagus salad was one of the best we’ve tried. Salmon as a main was so unique and the pasta with eggplant was amazing. The berries bread pudding was so mouthwatering so I highly recommend this place.

Greg was our server for our big family dinner. 2 big families with children everywhere and he NAILED IT. Everything was perfect, we couldn’t ask for more. So happy. Thanks Greg!!

We celebrated our 29th wedding adversary here and it was the loveliest, most romantic night. Benjamin made us feel special all night, they gave us the best table, and the food was fantastic. Thank you so much!

I recently hosted a bridal shower At Francesca’s north in Northbrook. The entire experience was absolutely amazing. Lisa, the event coordinator was detailed, easy to work with, and quick to respond to me. On the day of the event, the staff worked as a team setting up, attending to my guests and cleaning up. The entire staff was exceptional! A huge thank you to Kim, Margo, Ben, and Greg for making our event so wonderful. They were kind, efficient, and tended to our every need. I can’t thank them enough! The food was delicious. The presentation, the taste, and the amount of food was so much better than I ever expected. They even made adaptations for different allergies and food intolerances some of my guests had. I am so thrilled I chose Francesca’s north as my venue and am already planning to go back for my birthday dinner next month. Thank you so much!

Our experience at Francesca’s has always web outstanding g. This time Moises was our waiter. He was engaging, funny, and provided our family with an excellent meal. Also, hat’s off to the staff who made our food. We’ve always had good service and food at Francesca’s and know you will too.

You enter this establishment from a strip mall, but the moment you walk in you forget that. The dining areas and private rooms are well situated and not cramped. The dishes I sampled were good but lacking in that pop in your mouth moment. I actually think it was because they didn't add salt or pepper, which is desirable. Adding some myself, which I rarely do, added that little bit that was lacking and it is good to be able to control that yourself. I sampled 3 desserts, all of which were amazing. Tiramisu is my favorite dessert and this did not disappoint. The PROFITEROLES,
Warm cream puffs, pistachio gelato, chocolate sauce was fantastic. I also sampled the bread pudding with salted caramel Gelato, also amazing.

Moises & Mayron at Francesca’s were amazing servers at the bridal shower we hosted there! They were friendly, attentive, & accommodating. We received so many compliments!!! Highly recommend!!

Our server, Kim, was absolutely amazing! She was very warm, provided a lot of great information regarding items on the menu, and was very attentive but never rushed us. She’s the best server we’ve ever had at Francesca’s North!
