Brewer Police Department

To the officer that gave me a break after my ignorance today. I'm sorry I did not get your name. I was at the Skowhegan Brewer football scrimmage. I had trouble finding the field and arrived late. In my rush I parked in front of someones driveway. (Totally blocked it). Not only did this officer walk all around the field looking for me for who knows how long. He waited at my vehicle to let's say "greet" me instead of having it towed. I thank you for your stern but understanding professionalism.

Great group of Patrol Officers! Courtesy and respect goes a long ways with them.

Just saw a video on YouTube of a citizen journalist being violated by Officer Tardiff and the Deputy Chief of Police. What is going on in this department? The journalist is protected by the 1st Amendment of the Constitution and is allowed to video anything that can be seen in a public building. You cannot trespass a citizen from a public building unless he has committed a crime. You cannot ask a citizen to leave a public building unless he has committed a crime. I sincerely hope you provide better training to your officers and Deputy Chief. Unbelievable.

It would wonderful if police would enforce the laws that actually exist. I know several that do. There are none in this town.

Public photography is seen as a crime to this police department. Photography is not a crime!!!
