TownePlace Suites by Marriott Bangor

We have stayed at this location multiple occasions, and Jeremy in the kitchen has amazing customer service and goes out of his way to help with a positive and friendly attitude. He deserves special recognition. Rooms are always clean and cozy, all needs are met and welcomed with great respect and care from the staff. We highly recommend this hotel.

This place is kind of tucked away behind the car dealers in the area, but the building and staff are great and all the rooms have just been remodeled and look sharp!

Gem! The staff and management have become family. Where do I begin! Thank you front office Staff for always being kind, friendly, respect and watching out for Josh. Housekeeping- you do an amazing job and thank you! Stand outs are Destiny and Grace! Chef- Jeremy and Cindy are great and always try to accommodate under so much pressure. Dean is amazing and I hope he never leaves! Very attentive! Emotionally I am going to miss this place and hopefully will be back soon because of the people! That is the secret sauce here the staff! Management is also equally as kind, respectful, and thoughtful! Thank you all!

Rooms were comfortable and clean - the staff were lovely - Christina took it upon herself to upgrade my room which I so appreciated and by the way, is the first time that has happened for me and I pretty much stay in Marriotts 6 months out of the year due to work. I am impressed by the customer service at this location (they should be utilized as pace setters for other Marriotts US wide)

We had just a short stay but the staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating, especially the gentleman working the front desk when we checked out.

The room was great and has everything you need for extended stays, everything was very very clean. Will stay here again the next time we are in Bangor

Highly recommend this location. Was traveling with my husband and 6 year old child. All of the people working at this hotel were friendly and helpful. Lots of variety in the free breakfast. Large indoor pool. Clean rooms with lots of closet space. I would absolutely return.

Well located in Bangor, 1 hr from Bar Harbor and Arcadia. Suite with kitchen and twin queen beds. Included breakfast was good but not great. Indoor heated pool was great for the kids.

We arrive tired and hungry. The entire staff was easy going and exceptional. The wall heater/ cooler turned on and off all night. They changed it out while we went on our adventure. The room was perfect the rest of the stay. A definite place we will return.

Clean, modern hotel. Nice free breakfast buffet. Large rooms for extended stays or overnight. Friendly and very welcoming staff. Location near the mall and many restaurants and shopping nearby. I would highly recommend this establishment for business or pleasure and family travel as well.

From the day we arrived on 7/16 till we checked out on 7/25, the staff was amazing!!!! From the front desk to the housekeeping staff to the breakfast crew, not one complaint!!!! The room was very spacious and it had a mini kitchen! As there were concerts in the area, the price was a bit high but I feel it was totally worth it!!!! Continental breakfast was delicious and a laundry room, pool and gym were easy access!!!! Thank you for an awesome stay!!!!

The staff was absolutely amazing. My son had broken his wrist at camp and got a cast. The manager actually signed the cast as well as other staff members. They treat there guests like family. I would chose this place over any place around. Thanks for your kindness. I must add the rooms are very spacious, comfy and clean.

A great stay for us. Quiet area, large suite, good bed.

It certainly doesn't have the most lavish rooms you could get but they sure were very clean! I also absolutely enjoyed the conversations with the front desk staffs. The hotel staffs were very friendly!!!

My girlfriend and I asked for local good rec, and we received a long list of recommended restaurants with highlighted places to visit. I was happy to stay at this location but it was a long commute to Acadia, as well as Bar Harbor; we booked the hotel accommodations quite late so options were very limited.

Nice hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. the pool was slightly heated and the room for bigger than expected and very clean. I thought it was really cool when the welcome screen on the TV was personalized with my name on it. the room had a small kitchen with everything you might need for your vacation.

An excellent stopover spot just off the I-95 in Bangor. We had a two room suite and our little kitchen had a stove, microwave and fridge w/ freezer. All very clean - there seem to be a lot of longer term guests.

There is a small amount of noise from the Interstate but nothing too bad.

The breakfast is limited and standard but it was all good and enjoyed to start the day.

I cannot say enough about the staff at Towne Place Suites. They are outstanding and always make an effort to make out swim team's stay the best it can be. They are always willing to accommodate and make our team feel welcome. Even the kids noticed that the had written "Good Luck Y Swimmers" on the information board in the lobby. It is this attention to detail that sets them apart. The rooms and facility are extremely clean, the breakfast was great, and the check in was done with ease. They even allowed us to use a conference room for a parent group yoga session!

When planning the group stay I worked with Erica and she makes sure everything is organized and makes sure our needs are met. Her communication is great and she is always available to answer questions.

Thanks for a great stay and we will be back next year and for the years to come.

Front desk and management staff are caring, courteous, and approachable. Many remember my name. Housekeeping is great, especially Erika who is fantastic. Great attention to detail and very thoughtful. We leave each other notes now about our general goings on and it's been a nice change from other hotel chains that do the bare minimum with attitude.

Internet issues are quickly addressed by their dedicated phone staff. The washers can get dirty (thin layer of mud on the sides) and are expensive at $2 wash, (also $2 dry), but any issues with the machine are again quickly addressed.

Breakfast is small, boring but always fresh and free.

Overall, great experience.
